Eventually, Daena did not go for her home trial. Her potential adopter suddenly MIA on me after the interaction session. Actually, I am very okay with it. I always tell all potential adopters that there is no obligation to adopt the cat even after an interaction session. I just request to be informed so that I can plan ahead. Nevertheless, after waiting for a few months, I think it is time to move on.

Daena is very happy to be rehomed, especially if she would be the only cat in the household. She is very affectionate to humans, just not comfortable and happy around other cats due to her insecurity. She wants the humans all to herself. 😂

She now keeps to herself very much often in the Loh Household, avoiding the other cats (now this is a great improvement from her drama antics in the past!), and only comes to us when we call her and knows she will get undivided attention and time from us. This old dame will do very well in a single cat household!

I spent quite a fair bit (out of my own expenses) to have her liver continually monitored. She cleared her last round of blood tests and ultrasound with flying colours! Unfortunately, she also got "fly aeroplane" (放飞机). Well, things happen for a reason. So would this be a "third time's the charm" situation?

Daena:
- Female, ginger, green eyes, long tail
- Estimated 9-10 years old
- FeLV & FIV Negative
- Spayed with a tipped ear
- No fleas/ ticks/ mites, dewormed
- Vaccinated
- Microchipped
- Fuss-free grooming (nail-trimming, bathing, ear & nose cleaning)
- Soya-litter trained
- Kibbles & wet food diet
- Loves feather toys & yeowww catnip toys
- Lazy cat. Very lazy. Really lazy.
- Very affectionate to humans
- Will do well with elderly humans
- Does not scratch furniture, only cat pole scratchers and cardboard scratchers
- Single-cat household preferred
- Does not need subcut for now
- Has history of liver failure but fully recovered miraculously (please assess her hashtag #KittyDaena to know the full story)
