One of my goals after watching this little clip from my walk yesterday is to get my flexibility back. I used to be able to do a full split back in my Bar Method days! That said, I was proud of myself for not falling over here... hence the booty shake. 🤪

Another goal is to take more alone time at this beautiful little spot next to my house. This shot is of the highlands facing Half Moon Bay and the recent lack of car and plane pollution makes the view go on and on. .

  • With a lot of people locked up at home it is easy to loose track of your diet and get lazy with what you put in your body. Make sure to try to keep at least half your plate full of vegetables and fruits for every meal! You can workout all you want at home but if you don’t fuel your body correctly you will not get the results and performance you expect out of these workouts. I also included some healthy food ideas for meals on the second photo as well as snacks you can prep on the 3rd photo for when that boredom hunger hits!

Je profite de ce confinement pour changer un peu mes habitudes j’ai laissé la musculation de côté (pour très peu de temps je vous rassure) et je me consacre au cardio, et au Pilate ! Je vous conseille de faire de même et de vous testez dans certaines pratiques autre que le « body » 😘👍🏼

  • Full Body HIIT Circuit 🔥!
💯💯💯 For this do each exercise with intensity for 30 seconds followed by a 10 second rest. Once you complete the circuit take a 90 second rest. You can repeat this circuit up to 3-4 times !

Exercise 1: Mountain Climbers 
Exercise 2: Burpees 
Exercise 3: Bicycle Sit Ups
Exercise 4: Pike Presses
Exercise 5: Jumping Squats 
Exercise 6: Dips .

This is a great circuit I used for cardio yesterday. After doing it really made me realize how I need to incorporate more functional movements into my routine. =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=

  • No weight workout!!! 🏋️‍♀️ Started today with a nice jog around the area. Then moved into some on/off movements for time. 🔥🔥🔥 1.5 mile run - (not for time)💪 4 rounds - 2 mins an exercise w/ 30 sec rest in between. 
2 min jump ropes -(we didn’t have any😂😂🙈) 30 sec rest 2 min jumping jacks - 30 sec rest
2min squats - 30 sec rest
2 min elevated mountain climbers 
4 rounds!!!!
1 min high knees - 30 sec rest
50 mountain climbers - 30 sec rest 
25 pushups - 30 sec rest
1 min plank. 
Used my amino blend from @ys.labs  Great taste!!!! Use “cmidwood10” for 10% off entire order.

Bueno chicos no podemos evitar todo lo que está pasando, cada día se hace mas real y cada día estamos mas expuestos, (yo en especial que trabajo en un hospital)
.
Mi prioridad siempre va a ser mi salud y la de mi comunidad.... algunos consejos si quieres salir de casa a hacer ejercicios:
1- Al salir de casa no uses el elevador, baja por las escaleras.
2-Evita tocar ninguna superficie que otras personas puedan tocar. 
3-No es excusa para estar interactuando ni relacionándose con otras personas (Tengamos conciencia lo que está sucediendo no es juego)
4-Haz tus ejercicios al aire libre en un lugar donde no hayan personas a tu alrededor.
5-Evita tocarte la cara
6-Al finalizar, lávate bien las manos con agua y jabón por un mínimo de  20 segundos.

Seamos precavidos gente, nosotros tenemos el poder de hacer que las cosas no escalen a peor, yo no tengo el beneficio que tienen ustedes de quedarse en casa, si lo tienes USALO ! .

  • 2.5 weeks of no working out..
Today I literally DRAGGED myself here. I sat at home for an hour like I should go but i don’t want to. I really had no excuse other than “I don’t feel like it” to be honest.

I’ve been on this health/fitness journey close to 4 years and I still have my moods & days I just want to binge eat & not see a gym ever, I’m human 🤷🏽‍♀️

BUT how can I help others, if I can’t help myself right?!

Not gonna lie, when i started my fitness journey about 3years ago, I trained my core every single day... no joke. But now I honestly only train them 2-3 times a week

Would I recommend training them everyday?? Well considering your abs and core can recover quite quickly, then yes you could if you had the time/will power to train them everyday. Would this be beneficial? To be honest, I do not have an exact answer for that nor do I have any scientific evidence for it BUT you would be getting in A TON of frequency so as long as you don’t completely destroy your core every session, I think it wouldn’t hurt to try it out and see if you personally benefit from it🔥
