Labneh is basically yogurt cheese that can be eaten as a dip or in Pita bread sandwiches. It is made by straining yogurt into a thicker cheese (labneh). You can make your own very easily 😛 I put the recipe below !

 Za'atar is a mix of savory herbs like thyme with spices & toasted sesame seeds. You can find it in any arab grocery store. You can add it to your meals for extra flavor or simply mix it with olive oil and eat it with bread 😍

Ingredients to make labneh : .
750g Balkan yogurt - original (I use Astro)
Salt to taste
Olive oil

1-Put 2 layers of paper towel over a colander (a strainer with lager holes). The holes should all be covered by paper towel.
2-Add a larger bowl below the colander to collect the water that will drip from the yogurt.
3-Pour the balkan yogurt over the paper towels and cover the top part with more paper towels.
4-Keep in fridge for about 2 days, periodically emptying the bowl from the accumulating water.
5-Remove paper towels and mix the strained yogurt with salt & olive oil. 
6- ENJOY !

  • 🍒✨ Budincito sin azúcar de Cerezas al Maraschino ✨🍒 Intenté hacer algo más light pero no tanto 😜 este rico budín lo hice con edulcorante en lugar de azúcar y quedó buenísimo 🤗 también puede hacerse con azúcar claro. Les dejo la receta a continuación.

INGREDIENTES ✔️4 claras ✔️2 huevos ✔️1 cda esencia de vainilla • ✔️80 ml aceite girasol • ✔️30 ml edulcorante líquido •
✔️ 1 cda de queso crema ✔️ 1 cda polvo de hornear • ✔️ 150 gr de harina 0000 ✔️ 150 gr leche en polvo disuelto en 150ml de agua
Para la mermelada em la cubierta;
✔️ Jugo del frasco de las cerezas al maraschino
✔️ 6-7 cucharadas de azúcar 
PROCEDIMIENTO 👉🏻 Batir los huevos. Mezclar de a poco con la esencia de vainilla, el aceite, el edulcorante, el queso, el polvo para hornear, la harina y la leche en polvo disuelta en agua.
👉🏻 Poner la mezcla en una budinera y poner las cerezas. Estas van a caer y decantar. Háganlo a lo último así quedan distribuidas de forma pareja en el budín. Si quieren pueden ponerle el jugo de cereza que viene en el frasco junto con la fruta.
👉🏻 Llevar a horno precalentado 200º por 45 min o hasta q al introducir el cuchillo y sacarlo salga limpio. Si quieren que tenga cerezas en la superficie pónganlas una vez que ésta esté firme pero no se haya inflado del todo, sino no se van a integrar al budín. Si su horno tiene una grilla superior sáquenla 😂 porq el budín va a crecer muchísimo y no vaya a ser que se quede pegado y marcado 😂 Cuando lo saquen del horno todo lo q creció va abajar, así que no se preocupen si pasa.
👉🏻 Una vez listo el budín vamos a hacer vamos a hacer la mermelada. Pongan en un recipiente parte del jugo de las cerezas y 6 - 7 cucharadas de azúcar. Ponerlo al fuego y revolver bien hasta que se derrita todo el azúcar y se incorpore al jugo creando un almíbar espeso y rojo.
👉🏻 Lo vertemos caliente rápido sobre el budín antes de q se enfríe y ponga duro.

  • Anyone else snacking and baking a lot more these days? 🙋‍♀️ Now, I am searching for more recipes on Pinterest. Looking for healthier options to curb my sweet tooth. I came across these carrot cake cookies which are great for breakfast or for a snack.

Ingredients:
1 cup instant oats (as a substitute you can use old fashioned rolled oats pulsed a few times in a food processor)
¾ cup whole wheat flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1–1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon (to taste)
Dash of salt
2 tablespoons coconut oil-melted and cooled
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup honey
1 cup grated carrots

Directions:
1. Whisk together instant oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, set aside.
2. In a large bowl whisk together egg, vanilla and coconut oil. Add honey and stir to combine.
3. Stir in dry ingredients mixture, then fold in carrots.
4. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour. CHILLING IS MANDATORY!!! The oats need some time to soak some moisture, also prevent cookies from flatten completely.
5. Preheat the oven to 350 F, line large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
6. Using ice cream scoop drop the ball of cookie dough onto baking sheet leaving two inch space apart. If you chill the dough longer and the dough is very thick flatten the cookies slightly before baking.
7. Bake for 11-13 minutes. 
8. Cool the cookies on a baking sheet for 15 minutes ( they need to finish cooking on warm baking sheet) then transfer to a rack.

c. Grind Peanuts
d. Mix them with spices (salt, red chilly powder, garam masala, Ginger garlic paste)

  • 💥 Chorizo Turmeric Scramble 💥

Turmeric is one of my favorite ways to boost my immune system! One of the easiest ways to incorporate this powerful anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial spice is to add it to eggs. Have this delicious scramble for breakfast, lunch, or dinner––however you want it.

Ingredients:
• 1/2 lb pork chorizo (casings removed)
• 1 yellow onion, finely chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, divided
• 1/4 garlic powder
• 1/4 paprika
• 1/4 salt
• 1/4 pepper
• 8 eggs
• 10 oz chopped spinach

Instructions:
In a medium frying pan, combine chorizo and chopped onion over medium-high heat. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until chorizo is browned and crumbled and the onions are translucent for about 5 minutes. Remove from the pan without draining fat.

In a mixing bowl, scramble eggs with remaining turmeric and season with a little salt and pepper depending on preference. Turn the heat back on to medium-low and gently scramble eggs. When the eggs are no longer runny but not dry, lower heat to low, add in the chorizo mixture and stir until eggs are completely cooked, then remove from heat.

Serve warm, or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Estos son unos de mis preferidos, la humedad de estos muffins es increíble tooodo gracias al zucchini (calabacín)😍

👩🏻‍🍳Ingredientes y preparación
-1 zucchini pequeño rallado
-1/2 taza de leche de almendras
-1/2 taza de harina de coco
-1/2 taza de harina de avena
-1 cda de aceite de coco
-4 sobres de splenda (o cualquier otro edulcorante)
-1 huevo
-2 cdas de cacao
👩🏻‍🍳Mezclar todos estos ingredientes en un bowl de manera manual, unir primero los líquidos y luego ir agregando los secos. Colocar la mezcla en capacillos y llevar al horno por 15min a 250F
👀OPCIONAL colocar almendras fileteadas para decorar

Ingrediente :
• 2 banane bine coapte • fulgi de ovăz ➡️ Se mixeaza bananele până devin o pasta moale, apoi se amesteca cu fulgii de ovăz. Se lasa aproximativ 45 min, acoperiți cu o folie, timp în care fulgii vor deveni moi.
Se pun in tava, pe o hârtie de copt, în forme mici rotunde.
Se pun la cuptor 20-25 minute. Se pot folosi nuci, alune, fructe confiate sau pot fi lasati simpli.

Creo que ahorita todos tenemos huevito y verduras en nuestra casita y es una súper buena opción para iniciar el día 💕♥️.

Súper básico:
Solo necesité: - 2 huevitos.
- Verdura . ( Tomate, cebolla, espinacas, 1 champiñón troceado y cilantro verde). - Siempre que hago el huevito así me encanta ponerle pimienta y le pongo un chorrito de mostaza al cocinarlo , le da un toque delicioso 😋 ..
- Al servir le puse chile picado y un chorrito de salsa huichol que no le hace daño a nadie 🌚!! .

  • This was my Monday morning oatmeal bowl 🙏🏻 my basic oatmeal topped with banana, strawberries, kiwi and some almond butter 🥜 my start into the new week could have been worse ..
🇩🇪 Neue Woche, neue Oatmeal Version 🥄 wie fast jeden Tag hab ich mein Standard Oatmeal gemacht und diesmal mit Banane, Erdbeeren, Kiwi und Mandelmus getoppt - bin auch gerade wieder auf der Suche nach Netflix Serien, also gerne her mit euren Empfehlungen 🥰
👉🏻Recipe for my porridge:
👉🏻 50g oats, 10g chia seeds/ flax seeds 👉🏻 bring  with 300-350ml water to a boil 👉🏻 reduce heat, add 25g protein powder [ or use 75g oats ], pinch of salt and sweetener of choice 👉🏻 optional: add 1 tsp of psyllium husk or locust bean gum 👉🏻 let it sit for 5-10 minutes 👉🏻 add more water until desired consistency 👉🏻 add toppings!

Anyone relate? 😅 I haven’t got much planned on the agenda today apart from getting some work done, cooking and working out, followed by some stretching and down time in the evening. 😌 What are you up to today?   • ✨SWEET POTATO TOASTS! ✨Which would you choose?!
I definitely went for the smoked salmon with capers first. I swear, in my quarantine times, I spend so much time making my meals interesting. 🤣Not that I did not do this before, but the kitchen is an outlet that I’m comfortable with and keeps me sane. I am bummed because I have officially run out of Japanese sweet potatoes but we will make do. 😬Honestly digging into the odds and ends of my pantry has been incredibly satisfying. Does anyone else feel that way? 
Also, to make the toasts, I cut a sweet potato lengthwise and bake for 15-20 minutes at 420, turning once. I store them in the fridge and reheat in the oven as needed. 🥰Since I know you’ll ask! Happy Thursday!
