ごまパン。セサミブレッド。
全部黒ごまの方が、ごまが目立って雰囲気出るんだけど、黒ごまちょっとしかなくって、半分以上白ごま。
あったかいうちに切ったから、切り口潰れてるな。
ハードブレッドのレシピではないけど、クラストバリッと、クラムふかふか。
サンドイッチにして食べる用。

寝ぼけていたのか、同じような画角の写真、2枚だけしかとってない…

  • Well she sure ain't winnin' no beauty contest, but hot dang this whoppin' sourdough I made yesterday has got a killer crumb. I really tried to follow the recipe but halfway through I tend to give up and just go by feel. 
Big thanks to @essenkommen for mailing me a chunk of her 8 year old starter 😍

This is one of the first seafood dishes I’ve tried from Dining In. And I was a little skeptical of the recipe after reading how short the ingredient list is, but in true @alisoneroman fashion this dish packs a ton of flavor and is so uncomplicated to make. The clams are chewy and meaty, the butter brings the powerful flavor of garlic and freshness of the herbs, and the broth. Oh boy the broth. Soooooo good! You’ll want to drink it. Tommy and I loved this so much that I will definitely be making this on the regular.

TIPS: The recipe says to get smaller clams and I want to reiterate that. If you’re able to choose your clams, pick the smallest ones. My only option at the store was a pre-determined bag so some of them were larger. I ended up having to almost double the cook time for all the clams to open.

RECOMMENDATION: The recipe says bread is optional, but it’s not. It’s just not. The broth is sooooo delicious and flavorful that you would be doing yourself a disservice not having bread to soak it up.

NEXT TIME: I’m going to skip the beans. I added them thinking they would add some more substance to the meal, but they just got in the way. More clams, no beans.
