  • ¿Revisas tu teléfono constantemente?📲
.
🙋🏻‍♀🙋🏼‍♀🙋🏽‍♀¿Pasas horas inmersa en tu laptop?
.
¡Estos 3 consejos son para ti!👆🏻✨
.

  • The US Dollar has lost 96% of its value since 1913, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics showing that "savers" and fixed income workers are being left behind in this economy.

Take the facts for what they are and start treating your money like the fake asset it is and invest it into yourself, into improving your skills, into your business, into investing into your cash flowing assets... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But at all costs... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do not save your hard-earned cash thinking that the current value will be the same as tomorrow... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The name of the game is Cash flow NOT Cash.

Because as history proves... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
ALL fiat currency eventually return to their intrinsic value... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
ZERO ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fun Fact: By the time the Roman empire collapsed, the Denarius was made of only 0.02 percent silver, and was useless as a currency. #wethestreets #bethechange #createyourfuture #money #business #investing #books #bookstagram

  • @bloomsburypublishing #partner | WOMEN TALKING by Miriam Toews is based on the true story of the Mennonite colony in Bolivia. Between 2005 and 2009, the Mennonite women discovered that they were being drugged and raped by the men in their community. Toews’s fictional rendition imagines these women establishing a council to decide amongst themselves how they are going to handle this situation: Stay, fight, or leave. Although this is ultimately a work of fiction, the fact that it’s inspired by real-life events makes for a novel that’s equal parts horrifying and unputdownable. Most of the narrative takes place during the meetings between these women, and personally I thought their discussions posed a good balance between the terrible problem at hand, and the mundane everyday tasks of their limited lives (children, housework, etc.). The book is also quite short—rounding off at 216 pages—which on the one hand makes for a quick, compelling read (especially if you’re a looking for a book that you can get through in one afternoon). On the other hand, I think this would also have been great as a lengthier novel (there’s just so much to explore with this topic—it could go on for ages!). Ultimately, it’s a highly thought-provoking book that paves the way for important conversations we need to be having. If that isn’t a marker of a good book, I don’t know what is. 4⭐️

  • Is there a Harry Potter character that you think was sorted into the wrong house? 🌙⠀
⠀
In my mind Dumbledore never fitted into Gryffindor. Not really. He was oddly brave, sure, but I mostly consider him to be an intricate mixture of wisdom and cunning. He cleverly manipulates people to bid his will; pulling threads, keeping secrets and laying plans behind the scenes. 🗝✨ I’ve always placed him in Ravenclaw. Or perhaps in Slytherin. I can’t decide.
⠀
I’ve also always wanted Lupin to be a Hufflepuff; Regulus Black to be a Gryffindor; Lockhart to be a Slytherin.⠀
⠀
But then again, people aren’t simple or easy to figure out; living in-between borders and containing all of the traits in an impossible mix. ✨ Perhaps that’s the beauty of it all.

  • “People like us don’t fight for our own hope,” he said quietly. “We fight for everyone else’s.”
― Claire Legrand, Furyborn
.
If I do pass the competition to become a literature teacher in July.... then today would have been my last proper lecture ever. WHAT?! It’s honestly crazy to think that if everything goes right I’ll be teaching in a few months!!!
.
Anyway tonight I’m finishing my reread of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and after that I’ll be picking up the Paper and Hearts Society, I can’t wait!

What are your reading? ✨
