Following the Easter weekend, I’m sure many of you treated yourselves to some chocolate and some bbq food after the lovely weather right? Well I thought now is a good time to give some advice on nutrition and that it is OK to treat yourself from time to time! •You do not have to “EAT CLEAN” all the time to lose some fat and get into shape. Yes that means treating yourself from time to time. Make a plan that includes meals you enjoy and little treats here and there! As long as you focus mainly on consuming wholesome foods and minimising processed foods you are on the right track! • You do not not need to cut all carbs out of your diet to lose weight! You need carbs for fuel! Iv been there and done it, and yes it does work for a short period, but then when your weight loss stops or slows down, what do you do? Your carbs are already none existent so you can’t cut anymore calories! You don’t want to keep adding in loads and loads of cardio because let’s face it, no one enjoys doing cardio unless it’s a sport you enjoy!
What I’m getting at is... keep your carbs at a decent level and every few weeks drop them gradually until your satisfied with your weight loss! •Meal replacements and slimming teas, pills and all the BS stuff that you see online everywhere!
You DO NOT need these! Do not waste your money on these bullshit supplements as they are completely unnecessary and no good for you or your bank!
Meal replacement shakes are only good if you are trying to eat in a surplus and can’t get all your calories in because your full up! Do not replace healthy meals with a shake when trying to lose weight, you need food to satisfy your mind, so you don’t feel hungry and you minimise the chances of falling off the wagon!
These skinny teas and all those other BS supplements do not work. I was there once and it doesn’t work. Eat well in a deficit = fat loss!

- Injuries are motivation killers.. I know what I want, I like to work for it. Unfortunately, my body isn't always working with me.. The past year, everytime I healed from an injury, another one appeared. But I can't give up on what I desire.. Not being able to continue my training makes me upset, but I have to listen to my body. I'll adjust my training sessions, less upper body and more legs and more rest days...
