  • My crash diets would start every spring because I wanted to “look good in a bikini 👙”
.
In my 20s my weight loss goals were all for vanity. I was never the “hot girl” in high school - I was shy and awkward. And in college I gained weight because of my food choices and lack of exercise. So my confidence was at all all-time low, and I would try fad diet after fad diet every spring.
.
Counting points. Frozen meals. Soup diets. Shakes only. You name it, I tried it. And none of them worked for me....because they weren’t addressing the problem I had - I didn’t know how to cook or what to eat. I was seeking quick fixes that wouldn’t work in the long term.
.
I finally invested in my health and cleaned up what I was eating. And boy - can I tell you that 1. It’s with the struggle of learning and 2. When you eat better you FEEL better in so many ways.
.
So while I do now feel confident in a bikini 👙 - I’ve added SO MANY healthy benefits that I didn’t even THINK of when I first started!
.
👩🏻‍🍳 I can cook now! I still have a lot to learn, but I can fend for myself in the kitchen each week.
.
💰I save money on groceries since I don’t eat out as much.
.
💇🏻‍♀️ My hair and nails grow faster and thicker since I eat healthier
.
💩 My digestion is a lot more regular
.
💃🏻 I feel sexy and confident as a newlywed
.
And so so many more reasons too. I hope if you are looking to make a change, you think for the long-term and do it the HEALTHY way. When those habits stick, the results will too.
