  • Quick 17-min workout Better Than 45 mins of Running ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ
.
Most people think you need to spend 1-2 hours everyday working out like a mad woman to get a body like mine.
.
And thatโ€™s not true! ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ
.
Believe it or not...
.
I have *very* little time to workout. .
(And I donโ€™t even have kids lol ๐Ÿคฃ)
.
Usually I wake up at 5:37am so I can drink coffee, train and meditate before work. .
Or I sneak in a quick workout after I train my clients.
.
To win at exercise and get lean, you need to keep your workouts SHORT and do the right type of moves. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ
.
So since Iโ€™m feeling friendly right now, Iโ€™ll share my fave KB workout...
.
(Donโ€™t say I never do anything nice for you ๐Ÿคฃ)
.
Hereโ€™s the plan...
.
๐Ÿ…ฐ KB goblet squat
.
๐Ÿ…ฑ KB single arm snatch
.
- 45s work, 15s rest, 3 rounds
.
๐Ÿ…ฐ punching this boxing bag
.
๐Ÿ…ฑ goblet Bulgarian split squats
.
- 45s work, 15s rest, 3 rounds .
Abs abs abs: 3 rounds of...
.
1โƒฃ KB swings x 25
.
2โƒฃ lying leg raises x 20
.
3โƒฃ mountain climbers on slider x 50 each leg ๐Ÿ˜… this last exercise is killer! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ I want to cry every time I do it. ๐Ÿ˜ญ
.
By the way this workout is tough ๐Ÿ”ฅ but SHORT!
.
Make sure you have a caffeinated beverage before you try it. .
Because itโ€™s almost the weekend and I donโ€™t want you to die before then ๐Ÿ˜‚ .
.
Later! -KV ๐Ÿ˜Ž .

  • ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐ŸปEveryone wants to increase healthspan if not lifespan. Dave Asprey, who has made it his life purpose to find ways of optimising health and lengthening life, says he's aiming for 180 years! Rob Sinnot, USANA's Chief Scientific Officer says there's no reason why people shouldn't live to 140 in good health, knowing what we know today.
.
๐Ÿ’ฅBiohacking is about finding ways to optimise our biology and make the body serve us to the best possible degree. In preparation for the launch of our Nurtural nutrition and lifestyle app, I've decided to post a series of biohacks which I am doing myself at least some of the time.
.
๐ŸšฟNo. 1: Cold showers... or more precisely, hot-cold showers.
Not the most enticing prospect, but once you get over the mental barrier (speaking for myself here as I hate being cold), the health benefits seem to be huge! I've actually started to love the feeling of alertness, tingling and energy afterwards. There are different ways of doing it, but one I've seen recommended a lot is to cycle hot-cold 3 - 5 times โ€” a couple of minutes in the hot water and then 20 to 30 seconds in cold, finishing on cold in the morning to invigorate you, and hot in the evening to relax you. So what are the benefits?
๐Ÿ”ฅImproves circulation; strengthens capillaries
๐Ÿ”ฅ Improved lymphatic drainage
๐Ÿ”ฅMore good "brown fat", which helps to burn the bad fat
๐Ÿ”ฅImproved immune function; increased glutathione, the body's own master antioxidant and detoxifier
๐Ÿ”ฅBetter sleep
๐Ÿ”ฅReduced inflammation
๐Ÿ”ฅIncreases testosterone and human growth hormone - good for lean muscle mass, skin, eyesight and hearing and faster healing
.
๐ŸšฟIt may be a good plan to buy a showerhead filter if you are concerned about your water quality.
.

Some sources caution against the practice if you are at a higher risk of heart attack or stroke. If you have a health condition that you feel could be aggravated by this practice, please talk to your doctor before trying it to ensure itโ€™s safe for you.
