As you can see, my dude is a lot less carb conscious than I am. (I don’t think @the3rdoption could function w/o rice every day) Also, my meals are straight from a meal plan I’m following along with the #becomingextraordinary program I’m doing. Not pictured are the 2 snacks a day that go with my meals. There’s zero room in our fridge after this and the rest of the groceries, so I make my snacks day of. I plan on absolutely continuing to eat like this once my program is over in June, though. This phase (3 of 4) has definitely been the easiest as far as food is concerned.   • Have you ever considered working from home?

I didn’t. Well I didn’t think of exclusively working from home until this time last year when Alayna was out of school for the summer and finding child care for her was my biggest struggle.
.
Alayna ended up spending a little bit of time at my old job with me (God bless those good folks). It came down to, do I drop her over there for the two hours gap between me and Roddy shifts? Or, do I drop her off there for the gap? Both were good options but there was something inside of me that πŸ—£ screamed, πŸ—£ Just appreciate the blessing in my lap, really say yes to it and run with it.

I took the blessing and believed in the promise to fix it all, as long as I actually do my part and work for me.

πŸ‘†πŸΎπŸ‘†πŸΎπŸ‘†πŸΎπŸ‘†πŸΎ the promise is real and so is the opportunity.

It’s been a whole year and she is now out of school for the summer again. This time it’s different. Now my biggest concern is, β€œwhat are we doing different today baby?” Her child care is no longer a concern because of my choice to take the opportunity and blessing to work from home (or where I want), when I want, for me. .
It’s been a whole year, no it hasn’t been easy. So many of my problems has been fixed, some are still working their course since I took the leap of faith. However The promises are being fulfilled and the opportunity is still here today for me and for anyone interested in taking control of their life.

  • Most of the people can eat healthy and in their calorie range during the day when they are busy but when the evening comes it’s hard to be strict. 
How to stop over eating at night πŸ‘‡

Eat a filling dinner - eat more volume:- if you’re hungry all of seven and a half minutes after dinner, it’s not a cravings issue. It’s a meal composition issue. Protein and vegetable intake will leave you  feeling for hours. You can also push back your dinner to a later time. Which will help you avoid going to bed starving -
Sometimes you can have 2 pieces of dark chocolate 🍫 it’s completely fine but not full chocolate πŸ€­πŸ™…β€β™€οΈ

Simply go to bed earlier- if you don’t think you can fall asleep earlier, that needs to become your top priority -
Brush your teeth, floss and use mouthwash after dinner- it’s quite funny but it’s absolutely effective to stop sweet cravingsβœ… -

All honesty this week has been a sh** showwww for my gym appearances. I’ve been all over the place but with good things. 🌷 β€’

Monday: Did a friends workout at a CrossFit gym + whatever part of my β€œscheduled” workout was that I could do there after πŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ β€’

Tuesday I only had time for a bike ride (2 miles to the grocery store and back which I was super proud of) πŸ˜‚ β€’

Wednesday - an hour at the gym around lunch, an hour after work ( still couldn’t finish all the workout ... either in inefficient or there’s just a lot to get done πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ) and then 4 games of sand volleyball with some frandzz 🏐 β€’

Thursday β€” late night sesh for an hour at closing time trying to pick up the pieces of workouts I couldn’t finish earlier in the week πŸ’ͺ🏼

Today - 1.5 hours piecing together other stuff I missed...... as I type this I wonder if it makes @ashley.horner cringe to hear how much I botch her magnify you programming at times.... or maybe she’d be proud Bc I’m makin it work, getting to the gym, and am creating a lifestyle of active living, regular goal setting, and self loving in a way that works for my life??? I can be hard on myself because I always want to do things β€œperfectly” but sometimes I just can’t. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ β€’

  • While I'm a big fan of outdoor workouts and dynamic lean body workouts, I really love hitting the gym a couple times a week to mix it up with some strength! 
Today in my leg workouts , I hit my Max weight in leg press repsπŸ‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ I love training!! But it's even better when I get to train others and see them accomplish their goals too!
