  • Different month, same breakfast @westinlapaloma!

Back in Tucson and went for my fav breakfast from Azul at the Westin again! Egg white omelette with tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, and the best salsa verde I’ve ever had. Plus a beautiful and fresh fruit plate!

  • So often we think carbs are "evil" or that food is the "bad guy." We fall into this trap of "oh I don't eat bread because it'll make me fat." 😮 Sis, did you know there is literally 0% of research that shows that bread makes you fat? A calorie surplus over a long period of time will make you gain weight. That's what the research says and that's what happens in real life. Bread does make you fat. Pizza does not make you fat. Cake does not make you fat. These things are not evil - they are yummy foods that will not hurt you if you eat them in proportion.

So if you're like me and you wanna eat that burger when you go out to eat with your boyfriend on a Friday night, GO for it! If you wanna grab a breakfast sandwich with a friend who is in town for the week, GO for it. Don't let your fear of food inhibit you from living life. It's all about eating in proportion!

Pictured 👆 a delicious veggie breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. It tasted amazing. I had a salad for lunch after having this for breakfast because I felt like it. Don't punish yourself for enjoying foods that taste good! Everything 👏 in 👏 proportion 👏

  • Nesse calor, nada melhor que um chá bem gelado! Pq agora eu sou uma pessoa que pensa magro, e a Coca-Cola passou longeeeee 🙈😂... Massss falando em beber, hoje é o segundo dia que eu não bebo nada durante as refeições! Um hábito horrível que tenho há anos... na dieta sempre tomo Guarana zero ou H2O ... tentando melhorar isso tbm, pequenas trocas que fazem a diferença! 💪🏻🍏🍃😃

My coworker likes to train occasionally too so he and I lifted weights on Monday, annnddd I’m still recovering from it. Deadlifts with increasing weights til failure is definitely past my breaking point. It’s been interfering with my other workouts this week and with my eating habits. I’ve been so tired and ravenous, my body is screaming at me 🙃 So a light workout week it is! I’m getting a foam roller today so I can start stretching more, hopefully that helps some of the soreness! The important part is that I’m still doing my #BBG workouts (slower, and modified a bit to help my muscles recover) and am keeping with the program!

  • I’m a huge fan of the weekend + pancake combo (just ask my roommates) 😍 I usually use a boxed mix, but other times I’m making blender batter 🙌🏻 My 4 ingredient blender pancake recipe 👉🏻 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/3 cup egg whites, your fav protein powder, and a mashed banana ! Blend all of the ingredients together & then make them in a pan just like normal pancakes 💕 happy Tuesday!!

I am SO ready 😍🙌🏻 This week meal prep pretty much saved my life as always, baked salmon and rice over greens is such a staple for dinner 😛 I bake my salmon on 425F for 25 minutes with salt and pepper! How’s everyone’s week going!? I’ve been doing a lot of school, lot of working out, and I’ve been going on lots of walks because once my workload increases I won’t be able to go on as many 😩 happy Thursday babes 💕

  • Happy Wednesday! Another day, a fresh new CREAMY GREEN CURRY with a side of sweet and sticky coconut rice & heart of palm! 🥦🥬🍚 made this bowl in my Insta stories 2 days ago & it was the BEST one to-date! The coconut rice also turned out 💯 pls leave a comment if you’d like the full recipe for that, as well! 
For coconut rice I find you need long-grain rice; so always go for jasmine or basmati! A game-changing tip: while the rice cooks, stir in 1/3 cup of unsweetened or sweetened shredded coconut. You’ll never look back. Best texture & taste!
Curry deets below👇🏼👇🏼

Ingredients 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
3-4 tablespoons of green curry paste 🥄 I always use👉🏼 Maesri or Thai Kitchen!
1/4 cup fresh lime juice (not lemon)
1 lime leaf 🍃 highly🙌🏼 recommended
2.5 cans (14 oz each) of coconut milk
1/2 tablespoon good quality fish sauce
1/2 tablespoon coconut or brown sugar
A handful of fresh cilantro or basil 🌿 
2 cups broccoli florets
2 cups cauliflower florets
2 cups of roasted sweet potato 
2 cups of sliced baby bok choy 🥬 
A handful of kale!
2 small Serrano chiles (seeds removed)
1 can of heart of palm .
In a soup pot at medium/high heat add 👉🏻 all the veggies, curry paste and coconut milk and mix well. Simmer for 5-10 mins or until tender. Throw in: lime juice, fish sauce, coconut sugar, chiles and fresh cilantro or basil! 🍃👌🏼⭐️ Add your favorite protein 👉🏻 grilled tofu or chicken work best! (optional) serve over rice or quinoa and enjoy!💚 #vegetarianfood #saladlove
