  • This is our crazy bunch 😝 We’ve been livin life on the road for a little over 6 months now. It’s by far the best thing we have ever done for our family 🥰 Escapin the mundane, daily grind, rat race whatever you want to call it has been so much more than we ever expected. We’re all learning so much about life, our country and most importantly each other 💕 We’ve met so many other travelling families that we feel like we’ve known forever and we’ve been to places many could only dream of getting to 😊
Like everything tho there are pro’s and cons. It ain’t easy living side by side 24/7 in such a confined area. We all have our moments where we need time to ourselves to regroup and take a break. Except for Narah who is basically attached to mums hip and is pretty happy about it 😂 Setting up and packing up your home regularly, thousands of kilometres on the road, tantrums from the kids, being so far away from home, friends and family can be challenging and make the journey quite difficult at times. It’s definitely not a holiday, more of a change of lifestyle.
In sayin all this, we’ve decided to extend this way of living for another 12 months. We feel there’s still so much to see and do before we settle back down. It’s going to become more challenging tho as our funds will soon dry up and we’ll have to search for a bit of work to continue to fund this journey 💰We’re also picking up our dog that’s been a bit of a nuisance for others back home 🐕
For now we’ll take each day as it comes and enjoy the special moments, as nothing lasts forever. We’re looking forward to heading home, catching up with friends and family, sorting a few things out and then continuing our journey east 👉🏾 Thanks for following our journey 🙏🏽 Looking forward to meeting some more of you over the next 12 months✌🏾 .

  • Hey guys! So for 2020 I have set myself a challenge - I wasn’t able to do it last year as I was pregnant with Arthur, but this year, there are no excuses, so on Aug 22nd I'll be taking part in 'Dartmoor 26' which is a 26 mile trek across Dartmoor, to raise money for The Alzheimer's Society with my friend Sam. We’re both going to be training for the next few months, just a few hundred miles apart! So if you or anyone you know could spare anything between now and August we would massively appreciate it.
Thanks!

  • Big flooring changes are taking shape today!!!!
Our kitchen floor is being replaced and I am beyond excited. When we moved in, this was probably the thing I liked least about the kitchen. The tiles were a terracotta colour ceramic with black grout. They are very cold under foot and I think they make our kitchen feel very dark. There isn’t a huge amount of natural light in our kitchen so we need all the help we can get to make it feel brighter.

Anyway, the floors had a screed layer put down earlier this week (it’s been drying for days) and the flooring man is now here laying the conservatory half of the room.
Are we mad? 2 weeks before Christmas? I think we might be 😲

  • We are off! 🙌
Finally!!!
What a full on week we have had, but it’s done. No more!
Let the adventures begin. 👊
Despite the fact that we’re only staying about an hour and a half from where we started, we’ve spent most of the day in the car. Dropping off keys, picking up the van, stopping to make adjustments to the tow bar and sway bars etc, stopping at shops....
The kids have loved every minute of it! We drive along singing songs from the Sound of Music and taking turns to talk about what we love most about each other! ❤️
Hahaha not quite.....
Everyone is tired and cranky after such a big week and too many late nights, and we have already changed the seating configurations about 5 times trying to find a way to limit the amount of fighting as much as we can. 😬
On a completely separate note, yes we did sell every piece of furniture we own but we do still have a couple of children going cheap..... 😅
Anyway, this is it! We are really doing it! It’s happening! And you know what, cranky, tired, bratty children (and husband 🤨😂) aside, I am so unbelievably happy that it is!
It just feels so right! ✨

  • Hello Instagram! 👋🏻👋🏻
.We are two idiots, of mediocre fitness signing up for a insane challenge. 😳
Our journey began after a rather heavy night of drinking.
🍻
After a few hours of questioning his life choices Dom turns to me and says... "I want to sign up for something. I need something to work towards fitness wise" He says this most months, so I smiled, nodded and stuffed my face with a roast potato.
🥗
He announces he might do a Triathlon and before he can change his mind I message his sister Olivia. Olivia is a Triathlete and has is insanely fit. She has represented GB in the world finals or something mega impressive like that. .
Next thing you know we are signed up for a half iron man. WHAT?! We have 6 months. And you can see what unfolds. I mean... Even im a bit excited to see how this pans out! 😂😊 #tri #halfironman #triathalon #triathlontraining #arewemad #challenge #couplegoals #instasport #triathlete #veggierunners #vegan

  • On October 16th, my sisters and I take a few minutes out of our days to think of our Dad and how his life - and then his death - helped shape us as young women living in today’s world.
This year is a little different. This year, we get to do something great with our loss.
In honour of our Daddy Adam and in honour of all the children who have lost members of their family, next April of 2020, Rosie, Millie and I will be running all 26 miles of the London Marathon. (Lordy). In order to make this so special, all three of us have been invited to run for a charity that massively supported us as three little girls who had suddenly lost their daddy. This charity set up a weekend camp for us where we got to meet other bereaved children. We played games with them, spent hours learning team building exercises and worked really hard on those really difficult questions children aren’t always asked when they are faced with grief. This weekend for us was monumental. We got goodie bags and goodie boxes and we had plenty of down time. All the team leaders were incredible. They dealt with our grief effortlessly. They provided us with a physical place in the sky where we were able to visualise our Dad being. They helped us understand all the weird things we were feeling and knew exactly what to say when we asked them, ‘where do dead people go?’ They, my mother, my Nanny, and so many other people, guided us through our Dad’s death so brilliantly that when the three of us look back on that time, neither one of us can recall copious amounts of stress and trauma related to it. They supported us in a way that meant today, 23 years after his death, our lives are not, and will never be, defined by it.
Daisy’s Dream have helped endless amounts of children and their families come to terms with a bereavement and those affected by serious/terminal illness.

To have all three of us running for a charity that supported us irrefutably through what must have been a crazy hard time, is so, so special to my family. Link to donate is in bio. We really appreciate it 💕 #LondonMarathon2020 #DaisysDream #Fundraising #AreWeMad

  • Eeeekkk!!! Boy or girl? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Nearly 27 weeks and counting....We are nearly 90% sorted with everything so it’s all getting very real. I’m going to book our 3D or 4D scan this week so that will be amazing to see. I know that some of my friends got it done. They highly recommended it & said it’s sooo worth it. Personally I think the baby is very like Sean, and I’m not getting a look in really. We’re also booking our big holiday for the end of the year too, just finalising everything. Our snag list for our house is FINALLY happening next week too so it’s all go ☺️🙊🏡 We’re hoping to move in VERY very soon. Lots of people have started to guess if I’m having a boy or girl now. It’s a 50/50 split at the moment, what do you guys think? Boy or girl? 💙💗 #newbaby #newhouse #arewemad 🙈🤣

  • This photo was a moment!
Taken on our FIRST morning of Karl no longer being an employee!
I look at this and I get #AllTheFeels because I know the fear, the excitement, the #AreWeMad 😬😝🤮😄🤔😍😳 emotions that we were both experiencing all at the same time.
This shot 👆🏼 #MorningFaces and all, captures our first morning living our “ideal morning” that we penned onto paper in 2017 and became a reality for us in 2018.
#ButHow?
Most minds hear this and assume that to do this, I must have had my business generating the same amount as his very comfortable corporate wage was bringing us. Working for Apple for 11 years was a great thing. Let’s be honest.
But no.
I didn’t grow the business to a point where it covered ANY part of what he was earning working for someone else.
Bringing Karl into the business was a MASSIVE pay cut and a DECISION that we made fully knowing that it could mean two minute noodles for a long time.
We also knew it was the only way to start living in alignment with what we truly wanted.
It was HOW I could start serving at my highest level. It was how we could invite GROWTH.
That’s what my word of the year was in 2018.
G R O W T H
- in self
- in relationships
- in our marriage
- in how much we can give back to charity
- in the amount of time we spent as a family
- in impact (helping more women than ever through my teaching and mentoring)
- in systems and process
- in knowledge
- in our team
- in income
- in IMPACT!!!
💫💫💫
I hand on heart believe in the power of setting goals with intention! Having a word of the year will challenge you but it will also bring you clarity!
💫
My word for 2019 is EASE.
I will share more about this in an upcoming episode of my podcast but for now, I’m wondering, do you have a word of the year? What’s calling you in 2019? #TellMe 👇🏼

#TellMe 👇🏼

Taking notes to try and find a nice cheap polysterine version in B&Q when we get back because....... we’ll have a new house to do up soon!! Accepted an offer on ours yesterday !! So I hope you’ll all hang around to witness the dusty nightmare that’s about to ensue!! #whohoo
