  • Gunna take on August like Diana! Wonder Woman - Ame-Comi Figure version Costume made by me, back in the days before worbla. I used Wonderflex and spray glued metallic spandex and pleather to the pieces. The sword was made out of wood. Sadly, some of the coated materials have deteriorated with time, as cheapo pleathers tend to do, but they were hard enough to find as it were. This is why I am so involved with the creation of my @cosplayfabrics and the quality control of the pleathers and vinyls. I wish I had had access to my fabrics back then. On the other hand, I think it’s neat that I’m still using some of the techniques I used almost 10 years ago. I will probably forever cover thermoplastics and foam with shiny stretchy fabrics for certain costumes. Just goes to show that if something works for a cosplayer, they will never quit it 🤣.
