  • Here’s my perspective at this. It appears these Ads are displaying how “our People ✊🏾” are viewed in “mainstream society”, our males are beast like animals (hard, rough and rugged), while our females always look a mess. Now hold up, before y’all start dividing y’all selves like like the whole pizza into slices... These things ONLY OCCUR because collectively we ALL ALLOW it, consciously and unconsciously. It literally ONLY takes OBSERVATION from a centered place to see how much energy WE GIVE TO A SYSTEM that is designed to do exactly what it is meant to do and that is to disconnect US✊🏾 from our very SOURCE (the land/earth/nature). Please know this, this experience we call life, is ALL about ENERGY(your IAM). Think about your ability of control (in anything, whether it be, controlling a conversation, someone, your own self, thoughts and actions), it makes you vibrate HIGHER, because when you know you’re in control, you can manipulate the energy at will(Yeah you can do that🙂, you do it everyday, but don’t pay ATTENTION to YOU and YOUR ENERGY), so because WE DON’T UTILIZE OUR ENERGY TO WORK FOR US, then shit like this happens, because they’re controlling the narrative and manipulating the energies.
-
Yet regardless of, we always stand out, because naturally we do in ANY and EVERYTHING.
This is My perspective.

We’ve partnered with @maboneng_arts for an incredible service project. 🎨 The Maboneng Township Arts Experience is a South African nonprofit social entrepreneurship arts organization; established to train families in townships to convert their homes into creative Art Gallery Homes. #TheCrew will participate in helping to build a new community with homes as art gallery attractions. This is a #sustainable project solves the problem of the artist looking for exhibition space, the family looking for work and townships looking for their place in responsible #tourism.

  • “We face neither East nor West; We face forward” - Dr. Kwame Knrumah, The father of Ghanaian independence, and author of Africa Must Unite.
✨
I truly believe that together we are stronger. Together we can reclaim what was lost. Together we can rebuild what was broken. Together we can take back our thrones and our kingdom.
✨
But we can only move forward as a people when we have an understanding of where we are coming from. Marcus Garvey said “a people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots”.
✨
Without knowing your roots, you may not understand your purpose. Without knowing your roots your mind can be easily swayed. Without knowing your roots it’s like having a vision but no direction.
✨
We the diaspora need to not just have knowledge our roots but have an appreciation and understanding our heritage and where our culture comes from.
✨
We have had so much taken from us, and so many setbacks, why should we stop here? We need to keep on pushing, and progressing for a better tomorrow.

  • When you go against the grain many will stop just to watch you fail but when you succeed, the pride and confidence you embody will be an inspiration light to those who will come after that will also go against the grain, carving their own path to success and not following the sheeple mindset of the masses

But then you also have those like Steve who just end up wishing they just fell in line like all the other 🐑

Don’t be like Steve 😅

  • HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO MALI [Buona festa dell'indipendenza al Mali]

  • Life has a funny way of reminding you that you can make all the plans in the world but Murphy’s Law will catch you on the blindside so catastrophically you’ll begin doubting if this is really for you?

No just keep on sticking to the plan, make the necessary changes and always know “slow progress is better than no progress” @danielle_gemma_

It’s all perception and relativity but you can choose both at will.

Choose to focus on your skills, ability and your vision (perception) and choose to only resonate with that which inspires you to carry on building your dream (relativity) let the rest fall by the wayside and watch as your vision becomes a manifested reality you can look back upon and say “ wow ...... I really did that 😊”
