  • Final day in Patagonia, rounding off the 77-mile trip with Laguna de los Tres to see Mt. Fitz Roy, but we battled rain and clouds (first time, so we were overall lucky) and couldn’t see the full peak. But golly it was still beautiful and I guess I’ll just have to come back to El Chalten and give the hike another go! 📸 @kcarterbonham #patagonia #lagunadelostres #elchalten

  • This was one of my favorite places we’ve ever been! One of those moments where you can’t believe that places like this even exist. Like how?! I can’t wait until we’re back exploring out West this summer! Give us all your recs for things to do/see/eat around Glacier, Yellowstone, & Jackson Hole— we’ve got a few things on the itinerary, but would love some more ideas! ⛰ #katelynleblancphotography #katelynleblanctravels

  • Don’t apologize for things going right. Celebrate without guilt. Coming from someone who’s spent the better part of a lifetime deflecting any accolades of success with self-deprecation and misplaced humility, it really is okay to pause and say, wow, I worked hard for this moment and I DO deserve to enjoy it. ❤️ Spending the next week plus tapering towards a big adventure, and after many long dark & cold miles, these light and sunshiney runs have me feeling on top of the world. And it’s okay to be loving the feeling.

  • I heard this in an @elevationchurch sermon the other day:
Faith is being able to move on a maybe.
MAYBE this decision is right. Or MAYBE God uses what you THOUGHT was right to lead you to what’s actually right for you.
-
When’s the last time you jumped all in when you felt God calling you toward something? You don’t need to know every single answer before you commit.
-
When we first moved away from Alabama, we had every intention of moving overseas as soon as possible with Stephen’s job. I guess that was God’s bait for us bc He knew we wouldn’t wanna move to Pittsburgh for no reason haha. Turns out we loved it there and Europe wasn’t in the cards for us just yet.
-
It’s like He leaves us little breadcrumbs, haha. Seriously- it’s probably best we don’t know all the information up front. I used to plan everything, and now I just look at each chapter of life like a surprise lol.
-
Idk if this is making sense at all, but what I’m trying to say is... if you’re feeling lead by God toward something, FREAKIN DO IT. Don’t question it to death and keep waiting til “the time is right.” Just dive in. He’s gotchu boo

  • lately, i’ve been focusing on nostalgia and capturing things that reminds me of my childhood. this was photographed when i was just casually swaying my hands and playing with the steams of sunlight in my house. idk, something about this conveys the essence of childhood and this longing of being at peace

  • Last summer we made a pit stop in Wyoming to check out Devils Tower. This was the first United States National Monument and it was established in 1906 by Theodore Roosevelt. We would love to do some rock climbing here in the future. The rock formation is so much larger than we imagined—it’s crazy how it just seems to rise up from the flat land surrounding it! ⠀
⠀
Another fun fact? After visiting Wyoming, Micah has officially been to all 50 US states! I still have two more to go (Alabama and Mississippi), so hopefully we can plan another visit down south again this year! ⠀

  • Beautiful day in the city today. Just had to stop and be thankful; thankful for life, new possibilities, new places and new faces. I try to approach every day humble, open minded and optimistic. This is the only way to see the same city with new eyes.
