  • Colder weather got your skin feeling and looking a little thirsty? 🧊🥤 Yeah. I’ve been there.

Makeup looks off. Face feels tight. Skin looks dull and ... is that a wrinkle i see!?!? So you try your moisturizer - yay!

But whyyyyy isn’t it working 😭

Come noon your skin is back to the dry flaky frustration.

Come closer sis, let’s chat.

Did you know there’s a difference between dry kin and dehydrated skin?

I know 🤯 nana didn’t explain this when she said her secret to glowing skin was moisturizing at 15.

Hydrated skin and moisturized skin work together but are achieved by two different ingredients.

Moisturizers prevent water loss - and trap moisture onto the skin.

But - If your skin is dehydrated, there’s no moisture to trap. 😅

Using a good hydrator will fill your skin with water molecules, and the right one will even draw in water from the atmosphere.

Continued use will help your skin improve its ability to hydrate itself over time.

Then, the moisturizer works to lock it into your skin.

If you’re noticing your skin has:
+ dryness
+ visible fine lines
+ dullness and doesn’t reflect light
+ itchy feeling

you may be needing to add a hydrator into your skincare routine.

If you’re looking to take care of your skin and save some $, our home office is doing a special on our active hydration serum this week, and I’d love to help you snag and save.

Message me - we can chat. I’d love to help 🥰

  • Hi new 😀! I'm NATALIE! I've seen some new humans around so I thought I'd share a little more about my story.

I started getting cystic acne in college that was demoralizing. Any of you who experience this or have experienced this... I FEEL YOU. 😵 There's so much shame, low self-esteem, pain, inflammation, and frustration that comes along with acne. It wasn't until I started changing my diet that I finally saw some relief.

I found out about food intolerances I had and just kept taking foods away one after another and I wasn't feeling any more confident, in fact I started getting more anxiety and depression. This was emotionally triggering and isolating. 😞

🙏🏽I finally met with my own nutritionist who helped me realize that the root cause of my food intolerances and acne was in my gut and that I had to HEAL it.

⚡I started focusing on foods that I NEEDED to eat to HEAL, rather that focusing on foods I COULDN'T eat.

Now I feel free and confident, my skin is vibrant and smooth, and I have a burning passion to share what has helped me with YOU.

The countless hours of studying nutrition have paid off for me, but obviously not everyone is going to immense themselves in the literature and become a nutritionist. So, that is how I can support you. First, keep following me on Instagram to learn about exciting foods that are supportive to your body. After that, visit my website and read my blogs. Lastly, sign up for a nutrition consult with me so I can give you recommendations based on your specific needs.

I'm working on my vulnerability via help from @brenebrown so DM me with any questions you have about all the above and about anything that you might be experiencing!

  • These pictures were taken almost a year apart. The photo on the left is two days after my breast cancer diagnosis. The photo on the right is last week—cancer free and about to retire from my job to pursue my Rodan + Fields business.
This past year, I’ve spent 47+/- days at Mayo Clinic for appointments, had 1 inpatient surgery, 3 outpatient surgeries, and missed 3-1/2 months of work. Do you think I was paid from my job for all this time away? Heck no—there’s only so much PTO. But one thing was consistent—my R+F business. I did get paid from my side gig, and it sustained us through this difficult year.
This is what I call amazing! It’s time freedom, and THIS is my now career. Not a side gig. Not a hobby. Not a vacation fund. Not one of those businesses that don’t work. It's a career. One I can do in 15-20 hours a week. From wherever. Whenever. Globally, sick, healthy, few drinks in 🍸🍷🙋‍♀️😂😂😂 In the beginning I worked 10-15 hours a week in between working full time in my sales/estimating career.

Now I’ll have: 🚫work hours. 🚫schedules. 🚫limiting PTO. 🚫cancelling plans or creating sub plans. 🚫mandatory work commitments. 🚫sick days. 🚫boss.
🚫dress code (um, I’m in my pjs right now). 🚫glass ceiling.

What I will have:
⏰ My own hours. 📅 My own agenda. 🌎 Where I want.
💁‍♀️When I want.
💰I will determine my pay and if I want a raise or bonus. 👯‍♀️I choose my colleagues; some my besties, many strangers, all like family now.
💪🏻Empowering women and men is my jam. 🖊Tax write off for DAYS!! ✈️Free bonuses and trips for helping people change their skin and life. 🥰A community that has made me a better human, a community like no other. 🤓Personal development galore.
🌟Oh and glowing healthy skin and skincare...for free... for life! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I had to work hard to get to a place where I can welcome a new business partner in my pajamas and sell a Lashboost with a migraine in bed, but if you could benefit from $200, $500, $5,000, etc...a month, let’s have a real and raw conversation.

This business is what you make it....Side gig. Career. YOU get to decide. I would love to help you make it a gift🎁 like it has been for our family.

  • I was super engrossed in this menu but J had other plans...swipe to see the biggest, cheesiest smile that my husband gave me. It isn’t typically ‘posey’ or ‘Insta-ready’, but it’s very real☺️🥰 fun fact: I once got into an argument with a girl in primary school because we both said that 24 was our favourite number.🙃 It’s still a number I like today.

  • 5 peels, 5 months. Everyone knows I’m the worst at taking before pictures and this before is actually already after we got her cysts to calm down. At her last appointment I barely had any extractions to do which just showed me how far we’ve come. I’m so thankful she trusts me with her skin and now here we are 😍

  • ACNE | a skin condition that affects the oil glands (sebaceous glands) and hair follicles. The small holes in your skin (pores) connect to oil glands under the skin. These glands make an oily substance called sebum. The pores connect to the glands by a canal called a follicle. Inside the follicles, oil carries dead skin cells to the surface of the skin. A thin hair also grows through the follicle and out to the skin. Sometimes, the hair, sebum and skin cells clump together into a plug. The bacteria in the plug cause swelling. Then when the plug starts to break down, a pimple grows.
When people realize they need help with acne, often their 1st thought is to see a dermatologist but the answer is that they really need to find an acne specialist.
I have studied what ingredients in the skincare products contribute to clogged pores, what environmental factors contribute to irritation and inflammation, what dietary components do and do not exacerbate acne and what treatment modalities show the most consistent success.
I will create a customized treatment plan for each individual because I am passionate about helping you achieve a clear complexion.

  • MY ACNE HEALING FAVE RAVE:
💡
Without a doubt my FAVORITE treatment for INFLAMED ACNE is LED Light Therapy.
💡
THINGS I DON’T RECOMMEND FOR INFLAMED ACNE:
💡
Microdermabrasion.
Gua Sha.
Microneedling.
Dermaplaning.
Any form of scrub.
Tea Tree Oil.
Coconut Oil.
Castor Oil.
Bar Soap.
High Foaming Cleansers.
Pore Strips.
Clay Masks.
Charcoal Masks.
Apple Cider Vinegar.
Astringent Toners.
💡
WHY I ❤️ LED LIGHT THERAPY:
💡
LED Light therapy works on a cellular level to heal the skin.
💡
Blue LED light kills acne bacteria and red LED light reduces inflammation and encourages new skin cell turnover.
💡
I have been on the hunt for a high quality at home unit that doesn’t break the bank BUT does what it needs to do and @lightstim has come through.
💡
This healing device is particularly valuable for anyone that picks because it gives you something to do with your hands that both killing the acne bacteria and dealing with the eruption AND healing the skin and helping with scarring.
💡
Put down the Pore Strips, Clay Masks, Charcoal Masks, Apple Cider Vinegar, Astringent Toners, Scrubs, Tea Tree Oil, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil
and Black Bar Soap...... there is a new (actually a very old proven NASA technology) sheriff in town clearing skin and taking names.
💡
@lightstim is now available at Pacific Touch NYC $169 (free shipping in the US)

  • 65 days on isotretinoin (aka accutane). Currently 60 MG.

Using simple words like “better” or “worse” to describe someones acne is a touchy subject for me. Even with the best intentions in mind, using these words can be very hurtful to someone who has a chronic skin condition of the face. When acne becomes “better” we are quick to feel so much “worse” once another flareup occurs. And boy do I mean worse, depressed, desperate, hopeless, ugly and anxious. When flareups are a part of someones life they need to put so much energy into feeling worthy, confident and beautiful during active brake-outs. I know I am ultra sensitive, it’s very likely that some folks that have acne don’t feel this way. But for the sensitive folks out there, choosing words that are more thoughtful can make all the difference. Today I will not describe my skin as better. I will describe it as comfortable! And oh my does it feel amazing.

  • Acne, also known as acne vulgaris, is a long-term skin disease that occurs when hair follicles are clogged with dead skin cells and oil from the skin. It is characterized by blackheads or whiteheads, pimples, oily skin, and possible scarring. It primarily affects areas of the skin with a relatively high number of oil glands, including the face, upper part of the chest, and back. The resulting appearance can lead to anxiety, reduced self-esteem and, in extreme cases, depression or thoughts of suicide. Genetics is thought to be the primary cause of acne in 80% of cases. The role of diet and cigarette smoking is unclear, and neither cleanliness nor exposure to sunlight appear to play a part. In both sexes, hormones called androgens appear to be part of the underlying mechanism, by causing increased production of sebum. Another frequent factor is excessive growth of the bacterium Cutibacterium acnes, which is normally present on the skin. #acne #acnetreatment #acnecommunity #acnepositivity #acnehelp

  • "Notice that one beautiful thing about yourself that you've never noticed before." - @skin.and.art

When you look at yourself in the mirror, what do you see? The mirror works great as a gentle reminder to look at yourself without being afraid to see those flaws on your skin.

So, change your perspective. Learn to embrace them. Your raw self is more beautiful than you know.

⠀
Prenez soin de vous en attendant 😘.⠀

  • Although it took sometime, my client and I were so very happy when she got to a place where she felt comfortable in her skin. She now gets makeup optional days and that’s worth the commitment she made towards achieving clearer skin. You can book an acne consultation at the studio and let’s begin your skin journey

  • “I don't miss the nights where laying my head on a pillow brought me to tears because even the silk hurt my chin so badly. However, as surprising as it is to hear this come from my lips, I am grateful for those nights. I'm grateful because the amount of appreciation I have for my body and my skin is now immeasurable. It has shown me power. My power. My body's power. To heal. To change. To move forward. And to always remain in gratitude. Thank you body. Thank you skin. Thank you for reflecting my power and for showing me that healing is possible. Inside and Out.”

A dodatkowo czeka na Was konkurs!!! 😍

  • Acne does NOT make you any less beautiful. It does NOT make you look dirty or unclean. Acne is a NORMAL response to stress and hormone levels and it is NOTHING to be ashamed of. So please „wear“ your acne with confidence and try to focus on the BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE!🤲🏻🌸 It‘s alright to feel bad about your acne BUT why should you waste your time getting depressed about it. You are beautiful, no matter how your skin looks like! So please enjoy every minute, laugh loudly when very funny things happen, be kind to everyone, understand when someone feels sad and try comforting them. Always be yourself!! 🌻 And stop worrying! | Today I feel quite comfortable in my skin.😊 I still take Beta Carotene and I think it helps my skin due to the fact that my cyst is reducing and I have less breakouts. 😊 So I will continue taking it🎉 I‘ll keep you posted! And always remember: YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! ✨❤️🌸 #acne #acnepositivity #acnequote #acnehelp #selflove #selfcare #akne #acnecommunity #betacarotene #vitaminea #zinc #betakarotin #healingskin #quoteoftheday #skinpositivity #barefaced
