The name of this pose comes from योग​ yoga meaning "uniting, निद्र nidra meaning -sleep, and आसन Asana meaning posture or seat". The asana's name derives from the yogic sleep mentioned in the Hindu epic Mahabharata:

In Yoganidrasana, the back is on the ground, the feet are crossed behind the head, and the arms are wrapped around the legs and body, the hands clasped behind the lower back.

Rise & shine yoga flow -
For the past week or so I didn't have time neither the desire to practice my yoga. But, when you have a daily practice your body doesn't care how busy or lazy you're, it craves movement. This yoga flow what kept me shinning even on busiest day.
.
You can practice this flow for 5 up to 20 minutes, depending on how many breaths you take in each pose. I would recommend to take at least 3 breaths in each asana.
.
This exact video took me 8 minutes of practice .
Here is the flow:
.
Begin in Down dog and just move it the way your body want to! What a great pose to stretch the back of the legs, calves, spine, shoulders, and get some fresh blood the brain & nervous system.
.
Plank to Down dog x5 raps - great for strength & to wake up the entire body.
.
Rag Doll - release any tension & tightness for your lower back & neck.
.
Chair pose with shoulder stretch to Mountain Pose with a backbend - energizing & relaxing at the same time.
.
Pyramid pose - stretch dat hammies! Fav fav fav pose ever!
.
Warrior one - stretch your hips and energize your entire body.
.
Wild thing - open your heart to all the goodness around you.
.
From wild thing sink down onto your sitting bones and take a seated one legged forward fold to stretch your back & legs.
.
Back to wild thing go deeper into your backbend > sink back down > take a seated twist to reduce stress & anxiety > back to wild thing > try to get to your deepest expression & shine dat ❤

Come back to Down dog and repeat the other side.
.
Before your done take a juicy puppy pose to stretch your shoulders a bit deeper.

End your practice in child's pose or take savasana 🙏😊

Love this pose but was a whole lot easier a few months ago in the heat of India and when I was frankly doing loads more practice. Still just about managing it though but can't relax in the pose any more.

В йоганидрасану (позу йогического сна) я Вас заворачивать конечно же не буду в нашем ЙогаФотоТуре 😂😂😂 ни в самолете🤣🤣🤣ни  на первом занятии🤣🤣🤣 начнем со второго😂😂😂 Шучу конечно🤣🤣🤣 Йога-это путь... и у каждого он свой. Будем слушать свое тело и , строить свой путь развития а асанах.., каждый - свой... исключительно для прекрасного САМОчувствия и  САМОощущения💛

А тропический морской климат Доминиканы нам в этом только поможет 💛 Добро пожаловать в рай)

  • Εάν το παραμύθι του Πινόκιο ήταν αληθινό , τα πράγματα θα ήταν πολύ πιο απλά...αντ αυτου  η διαίσθηση μας πάντα  δείχνει την αλήθεια ... Ακόμη και όταν δεν θελουμε να δούμε και να  πιστεψουμε..στο τέλος πάντα έχει δείξει σωστά..και ας κλείνουμε τα μάτια.. Το να γνωρίζεις και να έχεις επιλέξει να καταλάβεις  είναι δύναμη και όχι αδυναμια όπως πολλές φορές μπερδεύεται..επίσης δεν είναι η  βλακεία που σε κάνει να μην μιλήσεις αλλά το ότι δεν θέλεις  να φέρεις τον άλλον στην δύσκολη θέση που ήδη έχει φέρει  εσένα.. να αφήσεις , να ελαφρύνεις χωρίς να πρέπει να κουβαλάς ψέματα , ανασφάλειες και ψυχολογικά αλλων..
