  • Conwy castle was the absolute highlight of my time in Wales! It was the most restored castle that I was able to walk around in! I felt like in was able to walk around and live my Games Of Thrones dreams! Real talk though, it felt like a huge step back in time, do you know any other sites that are like that? .
They are my favourite! .
My last video in my Wales series went live last night. It is a 24 hours in Cardiff travel guide. Make sure you don’t miss it! Link in bio!

  • walk //// stunning Monday evening walk in the spectacular hanging valley of Cwm Idwal, surrounded by the high peaks of Y Garn and Glyder Fawr. It lies in the Glyderau mountain range and is a classic example of a landscape which was dramatically sculptured by ice thousands of years ago. Its fascinating geological features drew the famous nineteenth century naturalist Charles Darwin to the area. Parking up at Idwal Cottage, it’s a pleasant 4km walk up to and around Llyn Idwal back to the car. It took us 90 minutes taking our time, including a snack stop next to the stunning Idwal slabs, where we watched climbers scale the huge walls. A must visit for anyone in the area on a sunny evening. It’s also beautiful first thing in the morning.

  • Surrounding myself by nature was exactly what I needed to get me out of my funk. Especially the sound of the water that seemed to surround Llangollen. A beautiful place to explore. #moonchild #outdoors #nature #waterfall #yogateacher

  • Will and I met at 10am for a seven mile round walk, starting at Kynance Cove, Cornwall. Having finished the hike bush-wacking our way through some head high reeds and a bog, we decided to end the day on the shorelines of Marazion, looking across at the famous St. Michael’s Mount.
.
We laid there listening to the waves lapping up the shore as the tide reached its highest thinking, “I wonder how long this island has been there,” and what it’s seen in Earth’s history books.
.
The island has had evidence of people living there since 4000BC, mainly housing flint miners and people alike. Skipping ahead through time a bit; between the 8th and 11th century it was a monastery, and consequently became the brother of Mont Saint Michael, in Normandy.
.
By the 19th century the island was in its hay day with 53 houses, 3 schools, 3 pubs and a population of 221. (Mainly fishermen who used the islands’ harbour as a central hub).
.
Come 1939 and the island was fortified for the war, and there were rumours that Nazi war generals wanted the take it as there own. However that didn’t happen and in 1945 the war was over, so with that the pillboxes became irrelevant. They can still be seen and visited today.
.
9 years later, in 1954 it was gifted to the National Trust, and that brings us to the end of its the Mounts final chapter.

  • North Wales continues to astound me.
From trampolines in caves, to stunning lakes then a beautiful coastal village.

- В Лондоне очень грязно;
- в Бирмингеме атмосферно;
- в Кардиффе больше 1 дня нечего делать;
- в Оксфорде все пропитано следами Гарри Поттера;
- в Эдинбурге очень красиво и вообще в Шотландии невероятные виды и нескончаемое количество овец и коров 🤪;
- в Дублине за 1 день можно насытиться городом, а вот катаясь по Ирландии и Северной Ирландии открываешь красивые места и натыкаешься на следы Игры Престолов
