  • "Be the person you needed when you were younger," You guys, this quote deeply resonates with me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This tiny human being is my big WHY. She's the reason I want to wake up early in the morning and accomplish my goals. She's the reasonI started getting healthier this year. She's inspired me to learn how to be extremely intentional at my job so that I can run a business and still be present with her.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am constantly amazed by this brilliant little lady. I cannot wait to know her more every day, and be the person for her that I needed when I was younger.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How about you, what's your why?

  • Seems like all my recent photos have got moose in them! Here’s something different. There’s still a moose in here, but he didn’t want to get in the water and ruin the reflection, unfortunately

  • It was well below zero degrees, I couldn’t feel my hands, and my face turned purple from the cold. A fantastic January sunrise @rockynps

  • Really loving shallow depth of field and rich greens lately 🌿 does anyone else see fields and flowers from afar as soft beds and cozy blankets? I always have the impulse to lay down on a distance meadow but of course up close everything is spiky and there are tons of bugs. Woolly thyme seems ideal but even that is crawling with critters. I’ll keep on dreaming of the perfect outdoor spot for supine satisfaction 🌿😅🌾

  • The call to nature and for balance in my life has been extremely strong these past few weeks. To balance between the busy bustle that is the hustle of life and taking time for myself to be alone in nature. To absorb nature, its cycles, its beauty, and its restoration. I know there is a lot going on astrologically, and I am on the precipice of a new phase in my life. Mix it all together and it means finding what it truly important to me, my soul, and what it is I am meant to do in this world. Anyone else feeling major shifts in temperament and life goals lately?

  • A river runs through it... 🏞
•
“It” being the most magical town in the continental US. ✨ And while it’s technically not a river that runs through Telluride, you can follow this fast-flowing creek all the way from Town Park nestled up against the mountains to outside of town and beyond. It even cuts behind our house!
•
Occasionally I’ll visit somewhere that holds a magnetic pull so powerful, it’s undeniable that I was meant to be there. 🧲 What draws you to a place?

  • @aspensnowmass here taking over for the day! Snowmass is the place to be Tuesdays at Aspen Snowmass. From extended bike hours, scenic gondola rides and the always popular Farm to Table Dinners at Elk Camp restaurant we keep the mountain open until the sun goes down! Follow along for the day to check out more of Snowmass.

  • Man oh man, Colorado has had unbelievable sunsets this summer! I saw this intense orange glow coming in my apartment and quickly ran out like a maniac trying to capture it. This was probably the most incredible sunset I’ve ever seen in my life.

  • Colorado, you need to learn to drive. It’s getting embarrassing. Getting to the mtns shouldn’t be so difficult or take so long! At least it’s worth it once we finally get there.

  • Typically we take a trip to the Great Sand Dunes each year in early Spring but for whatever reason it didn’t happen this year until late June. The National Park was slammed and I was thankful to find peace and quiet hiking and exploring the foothills of the epic📍Crestone Peak, Crestone, Colorado. The Crestone Peak and Crestone Needle both tower over this surrounding area (Crestone Peak stands at 14,295 ft.) and I was immediately mesmerized by their power and beauty. This area is notorious for it’s unique weather patterns and extraterrestrial activity, 👽 while we there on June 20th, 2019 snow fell and we woke up to a fresh coat of powder on the peaks above our BnB. More from this trip coming soon… #sonyalpha #outtherecolorado #viewcolorado captured on @sonyalpha A7riii x Sony 70-200mm mounted on @promasterphoto XCM-525 edit using @lightroom ONLY. #lightroom

  • One thing I always aim to promote on here is safety and doing proper research before sending it on an adventure. With the rise of social media and how viral creating adventure content has become... I’ve definitely noticed more people hitting the trail that are unprepared rather than prepared. I spend a solid amount of time researching and reading about hikes before I send it on to bigger photo missions. I think that this is a crucial part to ensuring your safety and making sure you return home safely. A piece of gear that won’t leave my camera bag is my @soo t_llc Spot X GPS messenger device,
You never know what situation you may come across in the high country and just having a device like this on hand could potentially save someone’s life. If you adventure alone or find yourself outside the reach of cell phones I highly recommend checking out Spot X and their revolutionary GPS devices - here are some images from exploring Colorado this Sunmer 📍Mt. • I usually post my favorite photo from each hike. The most colorful, most interesting. But more times than not I don’t post any photos from our adventures because they don’t seem cool enough. I realized how silly that is considering we live in one of the coolest/most unique places in the country. Does it get any cooler than Sand Dunes National Park?
