  • Il #postworkout di oggi..
.
.

  • There are NO secret or magical bars that an optimal lifestyle, which one part is food can replicate @livevitae.
Just Like there is no secret magical formula in gaining or losing muscle. It’s the consistency and growth of bettering ourselves each day.
—
The idolised protein bar or shake is NOT needed for an optimal lifestyle. Your “gains” will not shrivel or deflated if protein is not consumed straight after your last rep! Myth.
-
Your more likely to benefit, when both the central + peripheral nervous system to allow your brain to switch to the parasympathetic state allowing your blood flow to distribute to the GI Tract.
—
We are Bombarded with protein shakes, bars, workout formulas by gyms, magazines and InFLuENCerS “AD”.
Mother Nature protein occurred naturally with micronutrients needed to create ENERGY + with some choices such as wild salmon (DHA in particular, astaxanthin iodine selenium) all in one unique package.
—
A protein bar is idolised by many, with the majority incorporating questionable unnecessary ingredients and cheap protein sources such as soy protein which is a poor protein source despite what funded studies say. This is hardly a meal either lacks any substance, leads towards grazing like a cow would do not as humans.
-
For sure, the protein bar makes a convenient, life easy, a handy source of protein yet it does not automatically give you “gains” how it’s portrayed in the industry.
-
Even the price point Mother Nature wins when’s you are prepared to put in a little effort to reap the rewards.
Wild salmon = £2 per 100grams
Protein bar at my gym= £3
—
If your worried about your magical protein post workout consumption it may also be warranted to wait until your nervous, endocrine + circulatory system have caught up for you to optimal digest anything! Food for thought. Ryan ❤️

  • green smoothie to fuel my day!💗spinach, banana, mixed frozen berries and @usnuk strawberry protein powder whizzed up thicccc and topped with clementine, grapes, banana, @myvegan chia seeds, @creativenature cacao nibs, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, coconut chips, daily Brazil nut and cashews 😛🍌
-
smoothie bowls are such a top way to get so many phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals in one go, especially when you balance them out with fat sources and protein! This @usnuk is called ‘dietfuel’ but the reason why I like it so much is because it has a wide range of vitamins added to the mix too! Even tho I don’t take a multivitamin as I feel >almost< all nutrients can be reached naturally through a primarily whole food diet, it’s cool to have the little boost! All the more nourishing 🥰
-
speaking of multivitamins, I think it’s important to highlight the fact that everyone has different needs when it comes to if they need to supplement things. I don’t take many, personally, other than vitamin D in the winter months (being in the uk we don’t get much sunlight this time of year! So it’s recommended to supplement) along with evening primrose oil (to help balance my hormones from when I lost my period; just continued taking it) and I would take b12 from time to time. But I usually find, as I eat so much fortified protein powder/cereals/milk alternatives, I always seem to hit my target. B12 is a nutrient which everyone can benefit from checking; it is not naturally occurring in our soil anymore, due to modern farming, and therefore animals are given supplements too. Which is why you’ll find some people claim that animal products are high in B12 ‘naturally’. Which is not true, as I said, it’s not occurring in our soil anymore. Everyone, whatever diet you eat, is at risk of not eating enough! Just gotta dispel that myth that only vegans are lacking in this nutrient 😇have an amazing day my lil sweet potatoes 💗💗💗💘🌈✨

  • this morning i woke up with every intention of making it a good day. started with walking basil, a great yoga class, and then this bomb breakfast bowl. i love mornings so much because we have the chance to start over new and make today better than the last👊🏼✨
-
after my early yoga morning classes i indulge in a nutritious meal of some sort, always switching it up to keep my body guessing. today it was this yogurt bowl.
the key is:
✔️eating natural and unprocessed foods
✔️eating a variety of different ingredients to bring in a whole plethora of nutrients to the body
✔️eating slowly and mindfully
✔️use your creativity! pleasure always should be at the table as well. enjoy your food!
-
sending love and happy thoughts to all!

  • Chia seed pudding in 4 steps🌸
-
Back home! Me, my mom, aunty and Trio are are doing great! It is great to hang out all together and laugh! Last week reminded me one more time how grateful I am! Hang in to your loved ones and invest in your health! Those are the most important values in life!
.
⬇️Here is the easy recipe I use for vegan chia pudding;
*1/4 cup chia seeds
*1 cup almond milk
-
😏Yep that’s it! Let it sit in the fridge overnight. Make sure to mix it well both before and after sitting in the fridge.
-
👉🏻The reason I like making it plain like that is because I mix it with whatever I want at that moment like 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder, cacao powder, yogurt, overnight oats etc..
-
👇🏻This combination contains of;
•Frozen blueberries and raspberries
•Raw pumpkin seeds and buckwheat groats
•Pineapple mango flavoured @rxbar chunks and maple syrup
-
❓How do you like your chased pudding❓
-
Have an amazing day!🍀
