  • Last week I received the results of my MRI. The damage caused by my dislocation-
Hills Sachs lesion, torn Labrum, chipped a bit of bone (note: injuries may not be evident in picture).
The Surgeons don't want to operate. I have 3 months of rehab and then we reassess.
To date I have dropped 8kgs thanks to some food poisoning and the lack of training. But none of this will deter me from getting back to where I was. I have been through worse and come out stronger. 
A strong mental state can help you recover from any injury, but sometimes we need others to inspire us.  I for one find my inspiration from one of our members who recently beat cancer. He trained right through his treatments and recovery. If he can beat cancer and keep exercising, a little shoulder injury isn't going to stop me.
If you can't inspire yourself, find those around you who can.

We’re on Day 2 of Peak Week and I’m more excited for the show than I remember ever being- that doesn’t mean that I’ve never been this excited it could just mean I forgot because #SleepApnea (my excuse for everything 🤷🏿‍♀️). However I definitely am less nervous than usual. ⁣⁣

This is show number 1 of the year, next show will be #NorthAmericans 😅⁣⁣

It might be interesting to you that one who is so anti dieting is also a Physique Competitor aka the ultimate dieter. It is perhaps BECAUSE I’m a bodybuilder than I’m so against diets for the general population. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I sincerely think restriction is more unhealthy than any of the foods you might be restricting and I’ve learned the easiest way to stop over eating is to stop telling yourself there are foods you can’t eat. It sounds counter intuitive but I challenge you to think back to when you first binged or spent the entire day thinking about ‘forbidden foods’. Most likely after your first diet or in some sort of food restriction regardless of the reason. Right?⁣⁣

In my opinion there’s a better way, an EASIER way to feel good about yourself and your body and that’s what I wish every single woman in the world knew and experienced. That’s my goal. My mission actually. ⁣⁣

Pullup/Chinups like a pro 😎. Check it out 👇

𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣:
•Hands gripped onto the bar in an overhand or an underhand position over shoulder width apart.
•Elbows are extended and back is leaned slightly back to aim your chest towards the bar.
𝙈𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩:
•Flex your elbows and pull your chest up towards the bar, retracting your shoulder blades as you do. •Keep upper body stationary as you move to lift your chest towards the bar.
•Slowly extend your elbows, lowering your chest down from the bar until arms are fully extended, returning to starting position. 
𝙑𝙞𝙚𝙬:
•Body should remain relatively straight with a slight arch.
•Elbow should past the shoulders.
𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙁𝙤𝙧:
𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙
•Does the head remain stable? Does it extend forward or hyperextend back? 
𝙀𝙡𝙗𝙤𝙬𝙨
•Do the elbows flare out or tuck close to the body?
𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙠
•Does the lower back hyperextend?
