  • Rolling With The Punches 📸⚡️
.
I felt like I hit a bit of a creative roadblock the last week or so. Probably had to do with the fact that I was surrounded by nonstop music all of last month. My soul was hungry for that fire and it quickly returned after heading out to check out and capture some @thebluestones magic at Schuba’s in Chicago a couple nights ago. .
Just me and my @nikonusa having a perfect evening together. Left inspired yet again knowing I’m always changed by the power of music and the path it leads on. Thanks, fellas.

  • Jumping into the weekend like… I love when you shoot a new artist with no familiarity and can come out a fan. It’s happened countless times for me as a music photographer and it’s one thing I love about this job. Nicky Jam photographed for iHeartRadio. Shot with the @nikonusa Z 7 and 70-200mm f/2.8E VR.

  • Ah, the weekend and spring is on its way with warm sun and green fields. It just seems like a good time to put my feet up and do nothin. Yah, that ain't going to happen but I sure can ponder that romantic thought. This 1926 Fairchild 71 shot a couple of years back though eases me into that mood. Shot with a @NikonUSA D5 / #nikkor80-400 in IA, I can still smell the bacon cooking and coffee brewing at my friends camp waiting for me after I got done shooting. Cheers! @BHPhotoVideo #nikonambassador #nikonnofilter #nikonlove #aviationphotography

ㅤ
Parceria é criada em prol de um objetivo comum, e tem que ser vantajosa para ambas as partes. No caso dos influenciadores digitais, ter uma boa audiência é uma parte da barganha, mas não confere automaticamente o direito de "receber mimos" 🤓
ㅤ

  • “Ice Dancers View” ... Nikon D2h, ISO1000, 1/1000 at f2.8. NIKKOR 70-200mm f2.8 lens, WB 4500K, REMOTE camera.
Finding new ways to cover a SPORTS event and illustrate action in a unique way should be every photographer’s goal, but the more you strive to make a different picture than the “pack” you often find your shot percentages going down ... unless you do some Homework.
HOW THIS IMAGE WAS MADE:
I was hired by Newsweek magazine to cover the ISU Grand Prix Figure Skating competition in 2003 which previewed contenders for the Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy 2006.
I obtained permission from the ISU Press Officer and Arena management to install a REMOTE camera over the ice. With permission granted, I began the process of determining where to hang the REMOTE camera.
I attended all practice sessions but did NOT make any pictures. I just sat in the same Center Ice seat in ROW 20 and made sketches illustrating program patterns where significant skills of Top competitor’s programs occurred on the ice.
I noticed a common location on the ice where the majority of the “Olympic Favorite’s” skills converged. These skills also held potential of making a pleasing picture from overhead.
THE GEAR:
I used a NIKON D2h as my REMOTE in 2003 and secured it to the Catwalk system directly over my “skill convergence zone” to maximize capturing several athletes’ performances. I secured the camera using two Manfrotto Magic Arms with Super Clamps and Safety Cable.
I use a PocketWizard Multi MAX to trigger the camera from my ice level Photo Position. My Multi MAX is connected to a foot switch that I push with my foot which allows me to make pictures with my hand-held camera at the same time.
I shot loose using a NIKKOR 70-200mm f2.8 lens, thus giving room for Pairs and Ice Dancing couples to easily fit.
Pictures were made of every athlete that went on to medal in Torino, including Ice Dancers Elena Grushina and Rusian Goncharov of Ukraine. @nikonusa @nikonambassadors #nikonnofilter #nikonambassador #icedancing #icedancers #sportsphotography #wintersports #aerialview #breakawayfromthepack #dosomethingdifferent @newsweek #ukrainians #planahead #doyourhomework
