- Tokyo, Japan - Day 4
I checked out early (or on time) but my flight wasn’t until midnight. That left me roughly 12 hours.
- Rather than leaving my luggage at the hotel (with was not on the way to the airport), I took the train to Shibuya Station. I figured it was a major station and I could put my luggage in a locker then take the train somewhere. Well, the U.S. President was in town so we were not allowed to use any of the coin lockers. Luckily the information desk told me about this place.
- I dropped off my luggage and decided I needed food. I found this place and got myself this tuna bowl for ¥700!
- I knew I was bringing home more than I arrived with so I went to Mega Don Quixote to find a bag to check in. I found this giant backpack next to the fold up bags and I could not resist. It was a little (a lot) obnoxious but, I couldn’t help myself.
- Then, I ate. Again. More tsukemen!
- After that I cooled of with fresh strawberry juice. Soo good. Im site too good to be considered healthy. 🍓
- Then, once I got to the airport, I made my way to the ANA Lounge. After I showered, I retired to this little cubby for several hours. Also, I got to the airport really... really early. I didn’t want to hit the rush hour commuters on the train with my luggage (especially my newly acquired backpack). 7 - This meal I got at the ANA Lounge was so good. Like really good. The main entree was slices of wagyu rolled with burdock root. 💯
- Once I was on the airplane I was very excited about this Globe Trotter amenity kit with Ginza skincare!
- I chose to eat the in flight Ippudo ramen again then went to sleep!
