  • AIP Reintroductions Progress. So, I had a win with egg yolks which made me ridiculously happy. So time to start reintroducing some more spices. I did this by making a batch of my friend Silvia’s Ding Dang Rendang - with a few tiny AIP tweaks. Delicious and such a flavour sensation after being limited in spice choices. I use my instant pot for this and the meat is achingly tender. Serve over cauli rice with a side of veggies and some pickled cucumber.

This serves 2, but double up if you are batch cooking or feeding a hungry mob: 🥕1lb beef, 🥕1 large onion, chopped, 🥕2 teaspoons sambal (skipped in my case)
🥕2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped, 🥕 1” piece of fresh ginger, finely chopped,
🥕 1 teaspoon each of coriander and galangal andcoriander, 🥕juice of a small lemon 🥕1 tablespooneetlepel coconut sugar 🥕250ml can of coconut milk, 🥕1 star anise.

Brown your meat in some coconut oil.
Add onions and continue to cook for 5. Mins.
Add spices and cook for a minute more.
Add coconut milk.

Cook in your Instant Pot for 45 minutes, on a stove top for 2.5 hours on a very low heat or 6.hours in a slowcooker.
Devour.

Use this sleep technique to change your subconscious mind and create the change you want in 2020… ⁣ ⁣

Over 90 percent of our life is ran by our subconscious mind… when we were young and up until the age of about 8 to 10 years old we were primarily in the “theta” brainwave state.⁣ ⁣

The Theta brainwave state is were the subconscious mind is influenced and when we were young we were literally “absorbing” the beliefs of our environment. ⁣ ⁣

Around the age of 10 to 12, we move primarily into the Alpha and beta brainwave state which is where the conscious and alert mind is. ⁣ ⁣

Reprogramming the subconscious mind with the alpha and beta state takes a ton of repetition and commitment…⁣ ⁣

However there is a HACK. As you fall asleep every night, you are drifting from the beta state to the alpha state and then to the theta state. There is around a 30 min window where this transition takes place.⁣ ⁣

The sleep technique involves feeling the emotion you want to impress on your subconscious mind AS you fall asleep at night. The “language” your subconscious mind speaks in is that of feeling. ⁣ ⁣

The key is to FEEL the emotion your want to bring into your life AS you fall asleep at night. For 15 to 20 mins, as you fall sleep… think about what you want to create in your life…⁣ ⁣
.
Beyond that, think of the EMOTION you want to feel if you achieved those goals. Then the key is to FEEL it rather than just think it. Put your hands over your heart and allow yourself to live in the experience. As you feel these emotions, you are reprogramming your subconscious mind in a powerful way. ⁣ ⁣

  • a warm bowl of oats is exactly what you need on a cold rainy day! Stove cooked oats taste so so much better than instants one 👌 I used half water and half almond milk with cinnamon and salt then add in your oats and chia seeds! Toppings: bananas, peanut butter, cinnamon, semi choc chip, hemp seeds!! You can also add a splash of almond milk if the consistency is too thick! 😋

Ingredients:
4 eggs
1/3 cup sour cream
24 ounces cream cheese (the blocks of Philadelphia 1/3 less fat cream cheese have less carbs)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup sweetener (I used swerve)
Oil for greasing the pan

Instructions:
1. Add cream cheese to bowl and let soften (optional)
2. Preheat oven to 350F
3. Beat cream cheese until smooth
4. Add the rest of the ingredients except the eggs and mix for around 2 minutes 
5. Either add each egg one at a time and mix well, or you can add all eggs at once and pour mixture into blender and mix that way
6. Slightly oil the inside of the springform pan 
7. Add mixture into 9" springform pan & Add to oven for 45 minutes or until the edges start to turn light brown 
8. Let sit out for 1 hour and then add to refrigerator for atleast 3 hours & enjoy! .

Calories: 286 
Fat: 27.5g
Net carbs: 2.1g
Protein: 7.5g

  • Pot roast!! 😋 If you love carrots leave a “🥕” in the comments.. There’s something about how soft they get in the slow cooker 🤤 .

These radishes might be the best potato substitute I’ve ever had!! 🙌 The way they soak in all the flavor for so long seems to totally remove the “radish” flavor 👌

2 lb Chuck pot roast 
1 cup beef broth 
2 cup carrots
2 cup radishes 
1 cup peas 
1/2 cup white onions 
seasonings of preference .
