- Bruce Lee and Picasso.
These two names have found their way in eternity. We are always looking up to inspiration, from the people who have excelled in their respective fields. A guy who changed martial arts, and the other who challenged the Art world.
The bipolar in me has loved these two extremes, with their favourite weapons. A nan chuck and a brush respectively.
The question that haunts me the most is what kind of goal setting did they do?
Was there even a term called goal setting then?
There was, a relentless desire to experiment, with their respective crafts. Self centred, are the ones who are obsessed.
The thoughts of taking the righteous path, rarely crosses the minds, of people who want to fiddle with happiness. Making a difference, in the grandeur scheme of things, is the last thing on their minds. There are the experiments, the insecurities, and the desire to create. That's quite a handful.
As I grow wiser, or disillusioned- happiness matters more than anything else.
Once I am happy. The world will be a better place, that's how my perception will make it. I will not be worried, about fitting in. My purchases, would be based on excitement, rather than seasons. Once, something vibes- it stays. Be it a pencil or a pair of shoes.
That is being honest, since this is Instagram. Lemme call it sustainable living:) #sarandeepity #artistsoninstagram #gurgaon #delhiartist #delhigram #sustainablefashion #sustainableliving #makingadifference #philosophy #hustle #notestotheuniverse #contemporaryart
- Have you ever thought, man I don’t have the money for the systems I need to start my business?!? ___
Before you go out and buy/save for fancy software check out the free things in life like google chrome. I started my first business with a friend for free and we shared all our ideas, meeting notes, important documents and all the things business related to Google Drive.
Google drive may not have all the bells and whistles of your standard project management tool, but it surely can get the job done! Do not allow those IG ads and Facebook ads to convince you that you have to start spending right away to share updates with your team, to create SOPs and the basic structures of a Small business.
I use Google Drive for my current Virtual Assistant business and I save a ton of money by not buying project management software.

- And to think, the guy on the bottom right offered me a job once because he liked how I handled his lack of service at an eatery I worked at back the early 2000s.
The staff at his hiring office was rude, racist, repugnant and redundant - I had to drive an hour to my interview, sit for another hour waiting for the fat HR pig to inhale her diabetic lunch, to have her come back and bitch my Audi because she’s white and can’t afford teeth.
I left ten minutes into the conversation and left while the HR Manager was mid-sentence. “I don’t want to waste my time playing Slave to a fat white. You need to hire desperate people for this treatment to work, and I’m from a higher caste than you, so fuck you and your company- bye bitch!” And I left.
Got back in Audi, left, and called the Nazi who offered me the job, to share my experience.
Moral of the story, is that I’m a bad employee, so I do my own shit and put on my own people.

- To those who tuned in to my stories
I recorded the last 36reps of my 110 pull-up challenge! This lasted 5 minutes, I completed the full challenge in around 25mins (I ramped up my pace in the last third)
Context: I found myself being too mentally weak again in my training lately, and I recall reading a story of navy seal used to advocate this 100 pullup (essentially anything with crazy high reps where you feel like quitting; less suitable to heavy lifts which risk injury). While I’ve been consistent, consistency isn’t enough. I think a lot of lifters rationalise consistency/health/lifestyle for their lack of progress. While it’s true to have a life outside the gym (to at least some degree😂), I think a lot of the time it’s just used as an excuse to say ‘hey I’m busy, at least I’m working out’, or to justify complacency (like you’ve reached a pinnacle already) and justify lack of desire, hunger, intention, or understanding of how to progress. And that screws with lifters mentally (esp if they’ve progressed fast for quite awhile).
So I believe if you’re honest with yourself, there’s a voice that’ll tell you you’re rationalising and bullshitting yourself being complacent, and yea, I found myself in that state, just wanted to retrain my mind to be humble and willing to go through abit of pain instead of hitting the “perfect set/rep scheme” or “perfect technique” or “perfect RPE/programming”. If anything, optimising your gains requires a strong mind, and sometimes seemingly “unoptimal” stimulus like banging out endurance reps or cheat rep after cheat rep (say 10extra cheat reps past your capacity where it actually tortures your muscles physically) can help build that mentality.
The plan was to hit sets of 6 til reps started to decrease. I also decided to mix up 10pushups btw each pull-up set (but only at the final third -last 36 pull-ups) to (1) push myself harder (2) occupy empty rest time while continuing to record (3) disincentivize myself from doing too little pull-ups per set (more sets of less pull-ups per set would make the task much easier-so balancing out with more pushups would be ‘punishment’ against making the task too easy)

- 💯 As I sit in the library over thinking 😂🤣 - My formal training is in science, a discipline that teaches you a very important lesson: failure is inevitable.
It’s the scientists that show up to the lab day after day, year after year, failure after failure that change the world.
Same in business, there’s not a single person at the top who hasn’t had a set back. As a person who has experienced a lot of failures, I tend to overthink. My analytical brain is filled with yes, but: insert problem. It’s been a challenge to change that to yes, but what if: insert different solution. Since I have shifted my thinking my world has shifted in response.
After working as a process engineer for a multi-billion dollar company I realized every company has problems. The big ones just have money to throw at the problem, the small ones though have to get creative.
Trial and error can be expensive, that’s why it’s important to save, so you have capital to fail, but more importantly capital to get back up.
