3⃣ [OH STANDING CABLE RAISE] | AMRAP with these ones. Again like the previous exercise try to keep straight arms through the movement. 💪🏿

  • Well deserved rest day for me today. Including 1-4 rest days a week is so important. When we train muscles are tested slightly, they heal during rest but heal slightly bigger than previously hence hypertrophy. Rest days also improve performance, fatigue and help to prevent overtraining syndrome. Plus they’re quite nice sometimes! Enjoy your day whatever you’re doing 💕💪

What a great PR week‼️First my 10k PR yesterday and now my 5k PR today 🙌🏻 This week I’ve definitely focused a lot more on my outdoor runs and mileage rather than those on the treadmill. Since I’ve increased my weekly miles, I’ve noticed:
✔️my pace getting faster and staying fairly consistent
✔️an increase in running stamina
✔️a boost in endurance
✔️my ability to mentally push myself throughout the tougher parts of a run
✔️that I absolutely love running outdoors as opposed to being stuck running inside on a treadmill 😂

Gearing up for my long run tomorrow... 8️⃣ miles 😬 *sidenote* I dropped my FULL hydroflask on my pinky toe at work today and it seems to be bruised, causing some slight pain when I put too much pressure on it 😅 I was able to get through today’s run without it bothering me, so hopefully I’ll be able to get through tomorrow’s run pain free as well! LOL 🙏🏻
