In terms of regressions and stepping stones, this is it. Twist first... then bind... then lift the knee... then get creative with the legs. In a lot of ways, weโ€™ve been working up to this! Binding around the leg will be the test to see if the twist is originating from the correct part of the spine. If youโ€™re not finding length and โ€˜forcingโ€™ the twist, it will be very difficult to get the around over and around the the thigh. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €
Begin in a #CrescentLunge with the left leg forward and right knee down. Stabilize the lower body by scissoring the inner thighs pulling the left hip back and pushing the right hip forward. Tuck the tail one and extend the spine. Keeping the length in the upper body, lean the torso forward leading with the chest. As you get to about 45 degrees, begin twisting to the left without moving the legs and hips. Try to pass the right arm as far over the left thigh as possible without compromising the hips (the left hip will want to come forward). This is where the work happens - continue working the twist while keeping the spine straight. When youโ€™re ready to go for it, pass the right arm under the left leg and wrap the left arm around the back and maybe the fingers find each other! โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €

  • Killed it training with my bro @boosted_fk doing lots of curls, lots of light shoulder work, few sets of light dumbbell shrugs, and tricep extensions. ๐Ÿ’ช Felt good and got another great pump. ๐Ÿ™ Next 2 days are rest days. ๐Ÿค˜

  • Trying to get these arms bigger so did lots of volume work yesterday with the 25s and 30s with my dad. Like 7-8 sets total. Not sure. ๐Ÿ’ช Going to be really focusing on improving my arms every way I can. ๐Ÿ˜ Trained them later with my bro @boosted_fk for a second time. ๐Ÿค˜Went heavier from 20s to 45s but just doing strict concentration curls every set back to the 27.5s and 20s for burnouts. ๐Ÿ˜ณ Trying to turn my weakness into my strength. ๐Ÿ™
