Diferentemente das mulheres, que adoram malhar pernas, muitos homens não fazem tanta questão de fazer exercícios para os membros inferiores. Vários deles, inclusive, simplesmente ignoram o treino para essa parte do corpo, o que é um grande erro. 
As pernas são responsáveis por transportar todo o nosso peso. Se não fortalecê-las, além de ficar com um corpo desproporcional, você pode prejudicar sua mobilidade, sua postura e até ter dores na coluna. Trabalhar a região ainda auxilia a queimar gordura e até a ganhar músculos no corpo todo. 
Um estudo publicado no Journal of Strength  and  Conditioning  Research mostra que fazer agachamento e leg  press, dois exercícios clássicos para as pernas, estimula a produção de testosterona e GH (hormônio do crescimento) essas substâncias são essenciais para o processo de construção muscular no corpo todo. Logo, ao manter o nível desses hormônios elevado no organismo, o treino para membros inferiores contribui para os resultados dos exercícios para peito, braços, costas e ombros.

  • Change happens through habit change. That’s the difference between getting results and keeping them up. It’s Friday but here is a new routine to test out for Sunday reflection/meditation on last week while preparing for the next. 🔹 Find 3 things that you are either grateful for or, 3 things you know you have progressed on in the last week. It can literally be anything in that scope. 🔹 Now find 3 things you know you want to progress upon. Now this can get tricky. Pick things that you know are bothering you in terms of habits AND aren’t pushing you forward. If the habit may not be the absolute best but you are seeing results and it’s not bothering you (deep down or otherwise) leave it alone for now and address the ones that are. 🔹Now set up ideal solutions for those issues along with good “go-to” solutions. For example if your goal is to meal prep everyday this week, great. But often times we fall back into old habits with stressed or pressed for time etc. Thats where the easy “go-tos” come in handy. If your in the Bakersfield area @saints_meal_prep is perfect for this. A few clicks, use my code Ash10 for 10% off and your done for the week! After loosing my nutrition bottle on the bike and badly bonking the run, silver ain’t so bad 😉 keeping my East London’s consistent at least! Now time to get to work!!
