Сезонный сет от шефа АДОЛЬФО МУНЬОСА и его золотое правило: «соль и масло -в тарелку», работа с дичью, особенно сейчас в охотничий сезон самого богатого на дичь региона Испании. Визит на кухню и подъем на одну из самых высоких точек города с невероятными видами - верхняя терраса ресторана.
И небо, небо над Толедо сегодня было особенным.

  • For dinner tonight: i made ham and asparagus quiche for the family. I tried to replicate what i learned from culinary class with chef @patweeshie 😊 The result: the dough was perfect (flaky and buttery) but i think i might have overcooked the custard filling (masyadong mainit ang oven). Isang practice pa, makukuha ko rin ito 😊 thank you @cacsmanila and @chefgenegonzalez for inspiring me to take this class. Dami ko natututunan. #lakingcacs #culinaryschool #practicemakesperfect #quiche

  • The most important titles I have are “Mrs” and “Mom”. But you know what? I also have a Bachelor of science degree in Public Relations, a minor in Event Management, and an Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts. I worked my behind off taking 18-20 credits while working 2-3 jobs to pay for it. I had a lot of people tell me they thought it was a mistake to go to culinary school, I had chef instructors that didn’t take me seriously and one that told me that I didn’t have what it took to be a professional chef. I did culinary internships, private gigs, and worked in a million restaurants to get experience. Even though I worked in mostly a “mans world” where I dealt with sexual harassment and jerky employers, I still loved cooking and creating new dishes. After I found out I was pregnant with my first son I thought my days of working in a kitchen were done; but now, 3 sons and five years later, I get to work as a chef in MY kitchen. I’m so grateful for the opportunities this whole social media world has given me to work from home and use the education I worked so hard for. I’ve been thinking about it for a while, but I finally decided to change my handle to @chefkellycahoon 
cause I worked freakin hard for that title, and I’m gonna rock it. 👩🏼‍🍳💁🏼‍♀️
