  • I guess I should be honest.... . The past 6 weeks I haven't lost any weight. But I did it on purpose and here is why. My biggest struggle has never been weightloss it's been weight maintenance. Weight maintenance is actually most peoples struggle. So for the past 6 weeks I've been trying my best to stay as close to a maintenance phase as I can. I knew I had a lot if traveling and events so I wanted to take the opportunity to practice self control and put the habits I've made into action. . I'm really happy to say that in 6 weeks I only gained 2lbs. The reason I consider this a huge victory is because in the past anytime I wasn't losing weight I was gaining 5-10lbs in a few weeks. Then I would diet again and lose it and that cycle would repeat. . For the next 8-10 weeks though I will be continuing forward and trying to reach my goal of 200lbs before my daughter is born in September. During this time I'll also be doing another group program for those who want to lose weight with me, details on that later. . Let's keep it going 💪💯

Mannnn I feel this HARD and I am SO PROUD of you. It’s an bigger accomplishment than most realize to maintain weight when you’ve been gaining your whole life ❤️🙌🏼

Another important thing is that I’m sure it helps slow down any “damage” to your metabolism giving it a nice break from being in a deficit!!

That is an awesome achievement!!! I totally relate too! If I’m not losing I’m usually gaining 🤦🏽‍♀️.... maintenance is still something I haven’t got confidence in for sure! Thank you for the inspiration to practice it now and then, even though I want to lose more overall. This is not a race but a journey 🙏
