The human body uses 21 amino acids in total and 9 of those amino acids are known as 'essential' amino acids, as our body cannot make them. Therefore we have to get them through our diet.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Protein sources like meat and dairy contain all of the essential amino acids we need.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

BCAAS on the other hand only contains 3 amino acids.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The scientific evidence consistently shows that BCAAS are less effective at stimulating muscle growth than complete protein sources and that when sufficient dietary protein is being consumed BCAAS offer no benefit at all.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The only possible exception to this is if someone is eating a plant-based diet, as plant protein sources contain lower concentrations of essential amino acids than animal proteins do Therefore BCAAs could potentially 'top-up' these plant protein sources with more essential amino acids.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • ✨🦋✨ GUTEN MORGEN, da draußen.🥰Alles nur Kopfsache? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Nicht alles, aber sehr vieles. Ich kann mich noch genau erinnern, wie ich vor 4 Jahren mit Yoga angefangen habe, da hatte ich totale Angst den Handstand frei im Raum zu machen.😅 Ich habe mich nur sicher gefühlt, wenn ich hinter mir eine Wand hatte. 🙈Viele haben dann  gesagt, das ist alles nur Kopfsache. Doch ich habe mich erst -SICHER- gefühlt, als ich auch die Kraft in den Armen dazu aufgebaut hab. Ich konnte ja am Anfang nicht mal einen Liegestütz, geschweige denn mein ganzes Gewicht auf meinen Händen tragen.😂

  • Oh, hi baby! ♥️ In case y’all didn’t know, I married this hunny back in February and couldn’t be happier with how my life is with him by my side. I’m pretty lowkey about major events in my life and prefer not to have big celebrations or anything since... idk lmao. I’m just like that by nature, BUTTTT I just wanted to go on and say how much I love my husband and I love how happy and confident he makes me feel. ♥️ Everyone deserves to be loved unconditionally.
